Your future team Our Sales Compensation team is comprised of people with backgrounds in sales compensation, analytics, and systems. We're hiring a Senior Sales Compensation Analyst, reporting to the Sales Compensation Manager. Responsibilities What you'll do - Lead the end to end monthly compensation processing for all sales teams - Facilitate compensation plan creation, administration, payout, and reporting - Analyze sales data to evaluate the effectiveness of existing compensation plans, make recommendations, and improve compensation structures - Build and update our compensation tool, Anaplan, for compensation processing and reporting - Ensure our compensation plans comply with relevant laws, regulations, company policies, and audit - Communicate compensation plans and changes to the sales team, providing clarity on how they are rewarded for their performance. Qualifications Your background - Expertise in designing, managing, and launching new compensation plans - Experience in change management and influencing complex decisions - Approach complex problems with a balance of data and insights - Successful senior stakeholder engagement and partnership, especially sales - Data and visualization skills (excel/tableau/sql/anaplan) and storytelling - Minimum 3-6 years SaaS experience in operations Compensation At Atlassian, we strive to design equitable, explainable, and competitive compensation programs. Base pay within the range is ultimately determined by a candidate's skills, expertise, or experience. In the United States, we have three geographic pay zones. For this role, our current base pay ranges for new hires in each zone are: Zone A: $132,300 - $172,725 Zone B: $119,700 - $156,275 Zone C: $110,700 - $144,525 This role may also be eligible for benefits, bonuses, commissions, and equity. Utilize the Kirkpatrick model to track satisfaction, learning, and behavioral elements. Assess improvements for subsequent iterations, including post-program reviews and feedback documentation. - Partner closely with sales operations specialists in order to form a data-driven approach to enablement programs to make strategic decisions and evaluate program effectiveness leveraging the Kirkpatrick model. Leadership and Coaching - Partner with sales managers to ensure effective delivery and reinforcement of enablement programs. Design a coaching program in collaboration with leadership and leverage other members of the enablement ecosystem (ex. Instructors) in the planning/execution of that program. - Facilitation/Training Skills: Strong training and facilitation skills is a requirement of this role focused on bringing together soft skills with product/industry enablement. - Program managers to coach and mentor instructors in order for them to partner together on coaching sessions. Enablement Program & Content - Sales Plays: Continually evaluate team and individual performance against annual sales plays. Design programs to coach desired skills or behaviors, gaining executive approval and executing end-to-end. - Program managers to consistently maintain/update program tracker with most current data. Qualifications - Proven experience in sales enablement, sales, business development, or a related field. - Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to build relationships with cross-functional stakeholders and to facilitate enablement programs. - A strong understanding of metrics and the ability to analyze data to improve the effectiveness of enablement programs. - Project management skills and the ability to plan/manage projects with excellence/agility. - Strong time management skills. - Strong understanding of how to use AI as a strategic enablement tool. - Ability to facilitate training sessions focused on soft skills and product/industry content. Compensation Info The U.S. salary range for this position is $90,000.00 - $110,000.00.
