• Develop and maintain aircraft systems using MSFS SDK XML and RPN logic • Implement and manage Behaviors, Templates, and Components within the MSFS framework • Edit, configure, and maintain MSFS CFG files • Tune aircraft systems, avionics, and interactions through CFG and XML integration • Create, structure, and maintain MSFS package sources (SimObjects, ModelBehaviors, Panels, etc.) • Ensure compatibility across MSFS 2020 and MSFS 2024 projects • Debug, optimise, and refine existing systems for stability, realism, and performance • Follow MSFS SDK best practices to support future updates and modular development
Job Requirements
- Solid knowledge of XML and RPN, specifically within the MSFS SDK
- Strong experience working with MSFS Behaviors (animations, logic, interactions)
- Ability to edit and manage aircraft configuration files (aircraft.cfg, systems.cfg, panel.cfg)
- Ability to create, organise, and maintain MSFS package sources correctly
- Good understanding of MSFS project structure and build workflow
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Experience with FS24 modular package architecture (Preferred)
- Understanding of creating and maintaining modular packages for MSFS 2024 (Preferred)
- Experience with complex aircraft systems (electrical, fuel, avionics, etc.) (Preferred)
- Familiarity with gauges, templates, macros, and reusable SDK components (Preferred)
- Prior released MSFS aircraft or mods (Preferred)
