Job Summary & Responsibilities We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer who will play a critical role in shaping and optimizing Developer Experience, ensuring our engineering teams have the right tools, workflows, and infrastructure to build, test, and deploy efficiently. This role focuses on automation, tooling, and performance engineering, enabling developers to work seamlessly while maintaining high standards of quality, reliability, and scalability. As a customer-centric engineer, you will treat other engineers as your customers, focusing on delivering intuitive, efficient, and scalable solutions that enhance developer productivity. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders to identify pain points, refine workflows, and drive continuous improvements that reduce friction in development processes. This position reports to the Sr. Manager, Software Engineering - Developer Experience, Performance Testing and Optimization within the Technology department. Key Responsibilities: Developer Experience Optimization • Design and implement developer-focused tools that streamline workflows, reduce inefficiencies, and improve productivity. • Build and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines, optimizing deployments and development cycles. • Enhance build systems, testing frameworks, and performance monitoring to ensure efficient engineering workflows. • Lead improvements in code quality, debugging, and logging to provide better visibility and faster resolution of development issues. • Drive scalability, reliability, and automation across engineering teams. Technical Leadership & Enablement • Act as a customer-centric engineer, ensuring tools and workflows meet the needs of developers. • Collaborate with product teams, engineers, and DevOps to align tooling, automation, and best practices with business goals. • Champion test automation, ensuring fast feedback loops and reliable deployments. • Provide technical mentorship, guiding engineers in optimizing performance and development efficiency. • Stay ahead of emerging trends in developer tooling and automation. Problem Solving & Continuous Improvement • Identify and resolve developer pain points, ensuring a seamless software development lifecycle. • Develop and maintain robust monitoring, logging, and performance tracking systems. • Conduct root cause analysis to proactively prevent future issues. • Advocate for best practices in security, maintainability, and operational efficiency.
