• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with GAAP or IFRS accounting standards. • Prepare and analyze financial statements, management reports, and supporting schedules. • Lead or assist in internal and external audit processes, ensuring timely and accurate responses. • Reconcile complex accounts, research variances, and implement corrective actions. • Manage month-end and year-end closing activities, including journal entries and accruals. • Assess and strengthen internal controls and accounting processes. • Handle complex sales tax issues and manage sales tax returns and filings. • Provide financial insights to management through variance analysis and reporting. • Support budgeting and forecasting efforts in coordination with Finance leadership. • Stay current with emerging accounting standards and regulatory updates (e.g., ASC 842, CECL, Rev 606).

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience working within a Value-Added Reseller (VAR) or Global Systems Integrator (GSI) environment is required.
  • In-depth knowledge of GAAP or IFRS and familiarity with recent regulations such as ASC 842, CECL, and Rev 606.
  • Proficiency with ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Experience preparing financial statements, reconciliations, and audit documentation.
  • Understanding of budgeting and forecasting principles.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy with minimal guidance or oversight.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
