Real Estate Attorney
Intersect Power
• Manage real estate legal work for early- through late-stage development projects across Texas, Oklahoma, and additional states • Provide legal support across project design, site control, permitting, interconnection, and offtake-related matters • Take ownership of assigned projects to help ensure development timelines and milestones stay on track • Handle legal tasks for a portfolio of projects, including responding to due diligence inquiries • Oversee outside counsel in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating real estate agreements • Review title, survey, and related real estate documentation to support informed decision-making • Partner closely with internal commercial teams to support development objectives • Bring an entrepreneurial, solutions-oriented mindset to complex real estate challenges • Assist with additional legal matters supporting the broader Real Estate Legal team as needed
Job Requirements
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
- Active license to practice law in Texas or California
- 2+ years of experience as a real estate attorney in a law firm or in-house environment
- Familiarity with real estate agreements common to large-scale development projects, including options, ground leases, purchase and sale agreements, easements, and title insurance products
- Experience working with outside counsel and cross-functional internal partners on real estate transactions
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- A proactive, detail-oriented work style with the ability to work independently and follow matters through to completion
- Calm, professional judgment under pressure, with a collaborative and adaptable approach
