Operations Project Manager

• Lead the planning and coordination that enables high-impact operational projects across our fleet of solar, wind, battery energy storage, and gas assets. • Prepare complex, non-routine campaigns for successful execution by developing project plans, coordinating technical stakeholders, and ensuring operational readiness before work begins in the field. • Serve as the organizational engine behind major capital improvements, fleet-wide campaigns, and warranty remediation projects. • Partner closely with Site Operations, Asset Management, Engineering, the Integrated Operations Center (IOC), and external OEMs to deliver safe, efficient, and commercially successful outcomes. • Develop detailed scopes of work, constructability reviews, engineering coordination, and project execution plans before field mobilization. • Build and maintain critical-path project schedules using tools such as Primavera P6, MS Project, or Smartsheet. • Establish processes to accurately track labor, equipment usage, downtime, and costs that support warranty reimbursement and commercial claims. • Develop strategic pre-work plans for multi-unit outages and large operational campaigns. • Collect and organize as-built documentation, quality records, and project closeout packages following campaign completion.
Software Engineer, Microgrid Controls Developer

Associate Project Manager, Data Centers – Natural Gas Power Plants

• As part of Intersect Power’s Operations team, you’ll build and lead a critical component of the company’s operational execution capability. • Establish and oversee the Integrated Operations Center (IOC) in Austin, Texas, creating a 24/7 control room organization responsible for the safe, reliable, and compliant operation of a growing utility-scale portfolio of solar, wind, battery storage, and gas generation assets. • Recruit, train, and develop a team of NERC-certified operators while creating the systems, processes, and culture that support high-performance operations. • Work closely with Field Operations, Technical Services, Reliability & Commissioning, Asset Management, Trading, and executive leadership, translating operational strategy into real-time execution that supports grid reliability, market compliance, and asset performance. • Provide day-to-day leadership of a 24/7 control room responsible for monitoring and operating utility-scale solar, wind, battery storage, and gas generation assets. • Ensure continuous situational awareness across the fleet and coordinate rapid response to changing operating conditions. • Serve as Incident Commander During Critical Events, leading operational response efforts during grid disturbances, forced outages, equipment failures, and security-related incidents. • Partner closely with Field Operations teams to coordinate switching activities, maintenance execution, lock-out/tag-out procedures, and operational planning.
