Role Description Designs, develops, and supports enterprise integrations using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) to enable secure, reliable data exchange between Oracle Fusion HCM, Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) hosted in OCI, Salesforce, EDI/SOA integrations, and external applications via managed file transfer (SFTP/FTPS). Collaborates with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable integration and API solutions with strong governance, monitoring, and documentation. What You'll Be Doing - Partner with business stakeholders and technical teams to gather requirements and translate them into integration designs, interface contracts, and technical specifications. - Design and build OIC integrations (orchestrations) to support real-time and batch use cases, including routing, enrichment, error handling, retries, and scheduling. - Develop integrations between: - Oracle Fusion HCM (using available REST/SOAP services and OIC adapters as applicable) - Oracle EBS in OCI (services/APIs, DB/file integration patterns as applicable) - Salesforce (APIs/events as applicable) - EDI/SOA services and partner-facing interfaces - External systems via file transport (SFTP/FTPS), including inbound/outbound processing and acknowledgements where required - Build and maintain REST/SOAP APIs and integration interfaces; apply API standards including versioning, naming conventions, request/response validation, and documentation. - Create and maintain data mappings and transformations (XML/JSON), ensuring data consistency, canonical modeling where applicable, and referential integrity. - Implement robust validation, exception handling, and reconciliation, including functional error responses and reprocessing procedures. - Support EDI-related integration flows by coordinating with EDI/SOA teams, validating payloads, and ensuring end-to-end partner connectivity and processing. - Develop and execute unit/integration test plans; support SIT/UAT; troubleshoot and resolve defects across application, integration, and transport layers. - Implement and maintain operational monitoring: OIC tracking/correlation IDs, dashboards, alerting, and incident/runbook procedures. - Manage integration lifecycle activities: configuration, deployment promotion across environments (DEV/TEST/PROD), change management, and post-deployment validation. - Produce and maintain documentation: solution designs, interface specifications, mappings, operational guides, and support playbooks. - Provide production support and technical leadership for integration incidents, root-cause analysis, and continuous improvement.
