• Lead SOP (Sales & Operations Planning) unit forecasting processes to support demand planning, revenue projections, and organizational growth targets. • Partner with Finance on revenue forecasting and budgeting, ensuring timely and accurate revenue projections. • Develop and maintain monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue planning models. • Analyze sales trends, pipeline performance, bookings, and operational metrics to improve forecast accuracy. • Partner with Sales Leadership and Finance to align forecasting assumptions and business objectives. • Support annual operating plans and quarterly business reviews • Own corporate sales reporting tools and deliver timely, accurate executive dashboards and KPI reporting. • Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly business performance reports for leadership teams. • Monitor sales productivity, attainment, pipeline conversion, and regional performance metrics. • Provide actionable insights and recommendations to improve sales effectiveness and operational efficiency. • Manage SPS data reporting, ensuring data integrity, consistency, and accuracy across systems and reporting platforms. • Build and maintain automated reporting tools, dashboards, and data visualizations. • Analyze operational and sales performance data to identify trends, risks, and growth opportunities. • Collaborate cross-functionally to improve reporting processes and data governance standards. • Calculate and validate sales rep monthly commissions and incentive compensation plans. • Ensure accurate commission payouts in accordance with compensation policies and timelines. • Partner with Finance and HR to support compensation plan administration, audits, and reporting. • Resolve commission discrepancies and maintain detailed documentation of calculations and methodologies. • Produce and distribute weekly sales reports highlighting bookings, revenue, pipeline health, forecast changes, and performance trends. • Track key sales metrics and identify variances against targets and forecasts. • Support leadership meetings with data-driven insights and operational updates. • Continuously improve reporting cadence, automation, and reporting accuracy.
• Collaborate with Product Owners • Be actively involved in the day-to-day operations, troubleshooting, and optimizing processes • Perform rigorous functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing across various ERP modules (e.g., Supply Chain, Finance, Inventory Management, Procurement, Order Management) • Coordinate and facilitate UAT sessions with operational end-users, providing guidance, documentation, and support to ensure thorough validation • Identify, document, and track software defects and system bottlenecks using tools like [Jira / Confluence] • Process Mapping & Validation: Analyze current operational workflows to ensure the ERP software accurately supports and optimizes business processes • Validate data migration and integration between the ERP system and peripheral operational tools or third-party applications.
Role Description Tactacam is seeking a highly skilled Senior Embedded Software Engineer to join our Reveal Product Engineering organization. This role will focus on the design, development, and optimization of embedded software systems for wireless cameras and cellular IoT devices. As a key technical contributor, you will work closely with cross-functional teams including internal engineering, contract design partners, and manufacturing teams. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience leading embedded software projects—especially in image processing and wireless connectivity applications—and a passion for developing innovative, high-performance outdoor technology solutions. - Lead the design and implementation of embedded software for wireless camera products. - Maintain and evolve embedded software architecture, product design documentation, and prototyping capabilities. - Provide technical guidance and oversight to third-party design partners and engineering contractors. - Collaborate with hardware engineers to ensure optimal integration of electronics and embedded software. - Work closely with mobile app developers for seamless integration with iOS and Android platforms. - Support Bluetooth/BLE, Cellular/LTE, and Wi-Fi regulatory testing and certification processes. - Partner with QA teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues during product verification and validation phases. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. - 7–12 years of experience in embedded software engineering, specifically in C/C++ applications. Requirements - Strong background in IoT video streaming technologies (H.264, RTSP, WebRTC). - Expertise in embedded Linux board bring-up using Buildroot or Yocto. - Object-oriented design and software architecture best practices. - Hardware interface experience with I2C, SPI, UART, USB, and MIPI CSI-2. - Skilled in using embedded debugging tools (oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, protocol analyzers, etc.). - Experience with embedded software unit testing and secure software development. - Comfortable working in Agile environments (Scrum, Kanban). - Proficient with Git, Jira, GitHub/GitLab, and modern DevOps workflows. - Excellent communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences. Preferred Qualifications - Development experience with AWS C/C++ SDKs (S3, MQTT, Kinesis). - Familiarity with Over-the-Air (OTA) firmware update methodologies for IoT devices. - Scripting experience in Bash, Python, LuaJIT, and GNU Make. - Experience collaborating with third-party design partners to build and debug firmware. - Knowledge of image compression and transmission algorithms. - Understanding of cellular and wireless technologies (LTE, Wi-Fi, BLE, NFC). - Familiarity with LTE networks and IoT applications in connected device ecosystems. • Maintain a high security bar for new and existing infrastructure in your capacity as an infrastructure and logging expert. • Design, implement, and maintain robust AWS infrastructure to support Tactacam's services and applications. • Help us implement DevOps best practices across various software teams, as we continue to prove the value of the “shift left” and “self service”. • Collaborate with backend, frontend, hardware, BI, and ERP teams across multiple product lines to streamline workflows and tooling for developer and DevOps use. • Help refine and maintain monitoring and “monitoring-adjacent” tooling to help triage issues, estimate impact, establish root cause, and resolve issues efficiently. • Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions to automate software deployments and ensure code quality. • Help us manage our fleet of end-user devices by building robust processes around internal and vendor-provided tooling. • Contribute to identifying unmanaged infrastructure and resources, and build IAC and monitoring around those ghost resources, improving AWS governance. • Help monitor and manage AWS and other cloud costs. • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, recommending innovative solutions to enhance our DevOps practices.
