Role Description SkyPilot has enormous open-source pull — millions of downloads and hundreds of companies already running it. We're looking for our early growth hire to turn that pull into a repeatable pipeline. You'll build the outbound and growth engine from scratch: the sequences, the sourcing, the tooling, and the experiments that get SkyPilot in front of the right teams at the right time. You're the person who turns adoption and interest into a steady flow of the right conversations for the team to close. What you'll do - Build the outbound engine: design and run prospecting sequences, sourcing, and enrichment, and stand up the growth and GTM tooling stack (CommonRoom, Clay, and the like) from the ground up. - Turn our ICP into pipeline: take the ideal-customer definition and operationalize it into target-account lists, plays, and campaigns that reach frontier AI teams and platform engineers where they already are. - Run growth experiments: test channels, messaging angles, and offers; instrument the funnel so you know what's working; double down on what wins and drop what doesn't. - Open early partnerships: find and grow the cloud, community, and ecosystem relationships that put SkyPilot in front of new users. - Feed the closers: work alongside the Founding Account Executive and Product Marketing Manager — you build the machine and generate qualified pipeline, the AE closes it, and product marketing supplies the message. Qualifications - You've built a GTM or growth motion from close to zero and owned it end to end. - Fluent with the modern growth and GTM stack (CRM, sequencing, enrichment, data tooling like CommonRoom or Clay) and comfortable wiring tools together yourself. - Analytical: you instrument funnels, read the numbers, and run disciplined experiments rather than one-off campaigns. - Able to sell a deeply technical product to a technical audience — you can hold a credible conversation with ML and infrastructure engineers. - Strong bias to action and ownership. Benefits - Competitive equity, compensation, and health benefits. - The chance to work with some of the best minds in cloud, distributed, and AI systems — with significant autonomy and ownership. - A front-row seat at the latest open-source infra startup from Berkeley (lineage: Databricks, Anyscale). Location San Mateo, CA. Remote will be considered for exceptional candidates.

Role Description SkyPilot sits in a fast-moving category, sold to a technical audience of ML and platform engineers, and we're hiring our first Product Marketing Manager to shape how the market understands us. This is a senior, full-stack role: you'll partner with the founders to sharpen SkyPilot's positioning, define who we sell to and why, and build the materials and demand engine that turn our story into pipeline. As our first marketer, you'll set the tone for how SkyPilot talks about itself at scale and turn the narrative into revenue. - Build product marketing from the ground up: partner with the founders to sharpen how SkyPilot is understood — the category, the narrative, and why we win — and turn it into a messaging system that lands consistently with ML and platform engineers. - Define the ICP: sharpen who we sell to and why, and hand the growth team a target definition they can operationalize into pipeline. - Build the enablement layer: create the pitch decks, one-pagers, case studies, competitive material, and launch content the Account Executive and GTM Specialist actually use. - Drive demand strategy: shape campaigns and launches, partner with the growth Specialist on execution, and measure what moves pipeline. Qualifications - You're a full-stack product marketer who can own positioning end to end, from the narrative to the sales deck to the launch. - A storyteller with an operational backbone: you write the message and build the system that ships it. - Genuine fluency in AI and infrastructure — you can go deep with technical buyers and earn their trust. - You've owned product marketing for a technical product, with the launches and materials to show for it. - Comfortable being the first and only marketer, setting the standard for everyone who follows. Benefits - Competitive compensation and equity - Comprehensive medical, dental, vision coverage for you and your dependents - The chance to work with some of the best minds in cloud, distributed, and AI systems — with significant autonomy and ownership. - A front-row seat at the latest open-source infra startup from Berkeley (lineage: Databricks, Anyscale). - Gourmet lunch & dinner for the team to do their best work Location San Mateo, CA. Role Description SkyPilot Platform is a managed control plane on top of the open-source core — a hosted API server that gives infrastructure teams unified scheduling, governance, and security across all their clusters and clouds, while compute stays in their own environment (BYOC). We're looking for an engineer to own this control plane end to end — the API server, multi-tenancy, and the services that turn SkyPilot into a product teams run their infrastructure on. This is the layer that makes a large enterprise comfortable putting its whole GPU fleet on SkyPilot. What you'll do - Architect SkyPilot's commercial platform from the ground up: the managed API server (hosted control plane), control-plane / data-plane separation, and the multi-tenant foundation teams run their compute on. - Scale and operate the control plane: keep the hosted API server reliable and highly available — monitoring, alerting, seamless upgrades, and the observability teams depend on. - Build enterprise-grade platform services: SSO, RBAC, secrets management, usage accounting, and SOC 2-grade security. Qualifications - You've built SaaS / cloud platforms from zero to one, and you're equally comfortable in the cloud and Kubernetes infrastructure beneath them. - Deep hands-on experience with major clouds' compute / networking / IAM APIs and Kubernetes internals (the API, controllers/operators, scheduling). - Hands-on with core platform services: SSO, authentication and RBAC, API gateway, usage metering and billing, CI/CD. - Fluent in a cloud-native stack — e.g. Go, Kubernetes, gRPC, PostgreSQL, Terraform — and comfortable in Python. - You care about reliability, security, and simplicity in equal measure. - Experience taking an open-source project into a commercial product, multi-cloud / hybrid systems, or GPU provisioning across clouds. Role Description SkyPilot exists because GPUs are scarce, expensive, and scattered — and the workloads that need them (pre-training, post-training, RL, high-throughput inference) push hardware to its limits. We're looking for an engineer to own the GPU and ML-systems layer that frontier AI teams run on: - Accelerator scheduling and utilization - The serving path - The integrations that make SkyPilot the fastest, most cost-efficient place to run demanding AI workloads A few points of GPU utilization here can save a team millions in compute and days on every training run. What you'll do - Own GPU scheduling, utilization and health: - How SkyPilot discovers, packs, and binpacks accelerator capacity across clouds and Kubernetes - Real-time GPU health monitoring and automatic failure recovery - Build optimizations for training and serving: - Enable large scale pre-training with node hot-swapping - Design storage systems for fast model checkpointing - Container migration, inference autoscaling and multi-cluster serving - Preemption handling and sandboxes for training, RL rollouts, and evals - Make the AI stack run great out of the box: - Deepen integrations with vLLM, PyTorch, Slime, and the frameworks teams use for pre-training and high-throughput inference Qualifications - Hands-on experience with GPU or accelerator systems and with ML training or inference infrastructure - Strong Python, and comfort reaching into systems-level and GPU-adjacent details - You care about squeezing most from the compute available to you - Experience operating large-scale training or high-throughput inference in production Requirements - Familiarity with the modern ML ecosystem (e.g. vLLM, PyTorch, CUDA, verl/slime) and workload-orchestration frameworks (e.g. Kueue, KAI, KServe) - You've done real ML-systems performance work - tell us about a bottleneck you hunted down (a stalled data pipeline, GPUs idling on a scheduling gap, communication you overlapped with compute) and what you measured before and after Benefits - Competitive compensation and equity - Comprehensive medical, dental, vision coverage for you and your dependents - The chance to work with some of the best minds in cloud, distributed, and AI systems — with significant autonomy and ownership - A front-row seat at the latest open-source infra startup from Berkeley (lineage: Databricks, Anyscale) - Gourmet lunch & dinner for the team to do their best work Company Description SkyPilot accelerates the world's most ambitious AI teams. Role Description SkyPilot already runs inside some of the most advanced AI teams in the world, and we're hiring our Founding Account Executive to turn that adoption into revenue. You'll own the full cycle — sourcing the pipeline, running technical sales, and closing net-new business with AI-native companies, foundation labs, and enterprises. This is a founding seat with a blank canvas: you'll build SkyPilot's sales motion from the ground up, partner directly with the founders, and write the playbook the whole sales org will run as we scale. - Own the full cycle: prospect, qualify, run technical evaluations alongside our Forward Deployed Engineers, and close net-new business. - Win the frontier AI teams: land and expand the kinds of accounts already running SkyPilot — Abridge, Applied Compute, Mistral, and others — where the buyer is a technical leader choosing the backbone for their most important workloads. - Wear many hats: source your own pipeline, build the deck and the process, and own every lever of the deal from first touch to signature. - Write the playbook: turn what closes into a repeatable motion — messaging, qualification, pricing feedback — that the growing GTM team runs. Qualifications - A track record of closing net-new business, ideally selling technical infrastructure or developer and data platforms to technical buyers. - Strongly preferred: you've sold compute, GPUs, or infrastructure to frontier AI teams or large GPU-consuming organizations. - You've carried a number without a big machine behind you and want to build the next one from scratch. - Genuinely fluent with engineers and technical leaders — you can run a credible conversation about infrastructure. - Comfortable co-owning the motion with founders and bringing field signal back into the product. Born in the UC Berkeley lab behind Spark and Databricks, our growing team includes top-tier talent from Databricks, Google, Berkeley, MIT, CMU, and Cornell.
Role Description SkyPilot powers frontier AI teams and enterprises that run our platform inside their own clouds, Kubernetes clusters, and data centers. We're looking for a Forward Deployed Engineer to embed with them end to end — deploying and integrating SkyPilot, shaping how their workflows map onto it (and how SkyPilot adapts to them), and solving the hard problems that stand between a customer and production. You'll own the technical side of making customers wildly successful. You're the person a frontier team leans on to get SkyPilot running in their own infrastructure. - Partner with the teams building frontier AI: work hands-on with foundation labs and AI-natives to architect and deploy their production workloads on SkyPilot — across cloud, VPC, Kubernetes, and on-prem. - Lead discovery and sales: design compelling sales demos, run the technical deep-dives that turn a customer's goals into a design they can ship, and build trust with the engineers and technical leaders — CTOs, VPs of Engineering, ML leads — driving the work. - Fit SkyPilot to the customer — and the customer to SkyPilot: adapt their workflows to run well on SkyPilot, shape the product to how they work, and turn each engagement into a repeatable playbook. - Bring the field back to the product: unblock the hard infrastructure problems in production, and carry customer signal back to the core engineering team. Qualifications - You've deployed and integrated complex infrastructure or platform software into real customer environments, and you thrive in ambiguity. - Strong systems and cloud fundamentals — comfortable across clouds, Kubernetes, and Linux, and able to debug someone else's environment. - Strong Python (or similar) — enough to build the glue, tooling, and integrations a deployment needs. - Genuinely customer-facing: you communicate clearly, build trust, and turn messy requirements into shipped solutions — you want to be where the product meets the real world. - Experience as a forward-deployed or field engineer, familiarity with GPU / ML workloads and the tools to train and serve them, or a developer-facing / open-source background. - Gourmet lunch & dinner for the team to do their best work Company Description SkyPilot accelerates the world's most ambitious AI teams. Born in the UC Berkeley lab behind Spark and Databricks, our growing team includes top-tier talent from Databricks, Google, Berkeley, MIT, CMU, and Cornell.
Role Description SkyPilot grew on the strength of its developer community — the engineers who found it, ran it, and told the next team about it. We're hiring a Developer Relations Engineer to grow that community the way engineers respect: by building. You'll work in the open on real demos, example apps, wrappers, and integrations (e.g., Autoresearch), plus the technical content and talks that teach engineers how to run AI infrastructure well. You turn SkyPilot's engineering into things developers can run, learn from, and build on. What you'll do - Build in the open: write demos, example apps, wrappers, and integrations that show developers what SkyPilot makes possible, with working code they can run. - Create technical content: write the tutorials, deep-dives, and docs that teach engineers how to run AI infrastructure well, and get them in front of the right communities. - Show up where developers are: talks, workshops, GitHub, forums, and conferences, as a credible engineer the community trusts. - Close the loop with product: carry what the community struggles with back to engineering, and help shape the open-source surface. Qualifications - You're an engineer who loves to teach: you can build a real project and then explain it in a way developers trust. - Strong coding ability (Python and/or Go), enough to build wrappers, demos, and integrations yourself. - You know cloud, Kubernetes, and/or GPU and ML workflows well enough to be credible with infrastructure engineers. - A track record of public technical work: content, talks, open source, example projects, or an audience you've built. - You are energized by developer community and open-source. - Gourmet lunch & dinner for the team to do their best work Company Description SkyPilot accelerates the world's most ambitious AI teams.
