Role Description As a Staff Software Engineer, you will play a key role in the entire engineering lifecycle from design, documentation, build, test and maintain our SmithRx product suite. You will advocate and bring best practices/methodologies, coding standards and large-scale system design perspectives to our team. We need our engineers to be versatile and driven, display leadership and ownership qualities, and be enthusiastic to take on new challenges as we continue to push technology forward. - Focus on back-end architecture; designing, developing and maintaining SmithRx product features using various languages such as Golang, JavaScript/Typescript, Node, GraphQL, and SQL (amongst others), while leveraging full CI and CD to iterate quickly. - Collaborate with stakeholders and technical leads to understand functional and technical requirements to produce high-quality, scalable software and services. - Provide scope and risk estimates for system and feature builds by building technical design documentation. - Continually apply software development best practices, design patterns, testing, automation, tools and technologies. - Leverage AWS technologies, like Lambda and Fargate, to handle various types of jobs and batch processing. - Troubleshoot production issues by performing triages for issues that arise, assessing the impact, creating and executing a plan for short-term and long-term mitigation, and performing root cause analysis to prevent future occurrence of issues. - Coach/mentor junior team members in their assigned engineering projects by reviewing and providing feedback on code developed, and performing design and code reviews. - Work with senior leadership to turn technical vision into a tangible roadmap every quarter. - Be the cornerstone of a collaborative learning culture through mentorship, code reviews, the exploration of new technologies, and other innovations. Qualifications - BS or advanced degree in computer science or applicable experience. - 12-15 years of software development experience working on server-side applications, specifically around API servers, third party integrations and data processing. - Experience at a high-growth startup a plus. - Expertise in a compiled language such as Go, Java or Kotlin is required. - Proficiency with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, including schema design, SQL tuning, and database monitoring is required. - Demonstrated experience designing and implementing scalable APIs; a solid understanding of design patterns, database design, and testing best practices. - Working knowledge of GraphQL APIs, CI and CD pipeline, AWS platform, Docker, and Kubernetes a plus. - Positivity; non-dogmatic, team-first attitude. - Flexibility; someone who is responsive and comfortable with ambiguity. - Highly disciplined approach to software design and development and ability to work on features independently (accurately forecast delivery milestones and work with stakeholders to ensure that expectations are met). • Perform detailed design of overhead transmission lines, including: Structure spotting and profile development, Plan & profile drawings, Conductor and hardware selection • Execute and review line design using industry-standard tools (e.g., PLS-CADD, PLS-POLE, PLS-TOWER) • Perform basic to intermediate calculations for: Sag-tension analysis, Clearance compliance (NESC, GO 95, utility standards) • Coordinate with structural engineers on pole/tower loading and design inputs • Support routing studies, constructability reviews, and cost estimates • Prepare engineering packages, drawings, and material lists • Interface with clients, survey teams, environmental teams, and other stakeholders • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and designers • Ensure adherence to project schedules, quality standards, and safety requirements

• Provide technical expertise to engineering teams regarding spectrum management, electromagnetic compatibility (EMC), and Electromagnetic Environmental Effects (E3) • Research, analyze, and evaluate spectrum-dependent systems and equipment to determine operating characteristics, performance limitations, and spectrum supportability. • Navigate and utilize multiple DoD, Navy, and spectrum allocation databases to identify frequency assignments, allocations, and technical information supporting system development and fielding. • Perform technical analyses including link budget calculations, coupling analysis, interference assessments, and operational feasibility studies for RF and spectrum-dependent systems. • Develop recommendations and mitigation strategies to reduce electromagnetic interference (EMI) and improve overall electromagnetic compatibility. • Review system operational requirements and assess compliance with applicable spectrum regulations and standards, including requirements established within the NTIA Manual. • Prepare and submit spectrum certification packages, including DD Form 1494 documentation and supporting technical analyses, through the Navy Marine Corps Spectrum Center (NMSC) for review and submission to NTIA and/or MC4EB. • Support spectrum certification efforts for systems operating in the 960–1215 MHz frequency band, including Identification Friend or Foe (IFF) interrogators and transponders, Link-16 systems, Traffic Collision Avoidance Systems (TCAS), and associated test equipment. • Develop and coordinate Host Nation Spectrum Coordination requests supporting operational deployments and acquisition programs worldwide. • Perform, document, and maintain Spectrum Supportability Risk Assessments (SSRAs) for DoD acquisition programs throughout multiple phases of the acquisition lifecycle. • Attend design reviews, technical interchange meetings, and program reviews to evaluate spectrum requirements, risks, and compliance considerations. • Prepare engineering analyses, technical reports, recommendations, and program documentation supporting acquisition, integration, testing, and fielding activities.

• Design, configure, and manage SharePoint Online environments, ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and security. • Create and manage SharePoint sites, libraries, lists, permissions, and content structures based on business requirements. • Use modern SharePoint features such as Power Automate, Power Apps, and SPFx to deliver customized and streamlined solutions. • Plan and execute migrations from legacy SharePoint platforms (e.g., 2013/2016/2019) to SharePoint Online. • Utilize tools such as ShareGate, Metalogix, or native SharePoint migration tools to ensure efficient and secure content migration with minimal disruption. • Validate and troubleshoot migration outcomes, resolving any issues related to data integrity, permissions, or configurations. • Work closely with OCC technical teams, business users, and other stakeholders to gather and refine requirements for SharePoint solutions. • Provide consultative advice on best practices for SharePoint architecture, integrations, and governance. • Develop and enforce governance models for content management, site usage, and permissions in alignment with OCC policies and compliance requirements. • Create and maintain technical and end-user documentation for SharePoint solutions and workflows. • Perform ongoing support, patching, and upgrades within the SharePoint Online environment. • Resolve technical issues in collaboration with SAIC and OCC teams, ensuring seamless operation for end-users.
