AI Platform Engineer

Givzey

The first Give now, Pay later donation solution enabling donors to make the biggest impact on their favorite nonprofits.

Full TimeRemoteMid LevelTeam 1-10H1B No Sponsor

Role Description This role owns the platform that keeps Givzey secure, compliant, reliable, and scalable. You'll work across AWS infrastructure, Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD, AI services, observability, and developer tooling to make sure engineers spend their time building product instead of fighting deployments. You'll partner closely with engineering, ML, and product to design the platform that powers everything from customer-facing APIs to LLM workflows running on Amazon Bedrock and SageMaker. This is not a "keep the lights on" devops role. You'll actively shape how we deploy software, provision infrastructure, manage AI workloads, and scale the engineering organization. Who thrives here - You're the engineer who gets excited about replacing a manual deployment with a one-click pipeline. - Automating infrastructure instead of clicking around the AWS console. - Designing systems that make the rest of engineering move faster. - You think in terms of reliability, observability, automation, and repeatability. - You're comfortable wearing multiple hats. What you'll do - Cloud infrastructure - Design, build, and maintain our AWS infrastructure. - Manage networking, IAM, compute, storage, databases, and security across environments. - Build scalable infrastructure capable of supporting rapid product growth. - Improve resiliency, availability, and disaster recovery. - Infrastructure as Code - Own our Infrastructure as Code strategy using Pulumi. - Build reusable infrastructure components and shared modules. - Eliminate manual infrastructure changes wherever possible. - Review and evolve our cloud architecture as the company grows. - CI/CD - Build and maintain deployment pipelines for applications and infrastructure. - Improve release automation and deployment safety. - Reduce friction in local development and engineering workflows. - Help establish engineering best practices around testing and deployment. - AI Platform - Build and maintain the infrastructure powering our AI systems. - Work with services such as Amazon Bedrock, SageMaker, OpenSearch, and supporting AWS services. - Support LLM evaluation pipelines, RAG infrastructure, vector search, and model deployment. - Partner with ML engineers to operationalize new AI capabilities. - Platform Operations - Monitor production systems and improve observability. - Respond to production incidents and drive root-cause analysis. - Improve system reliability through automation rather than manual processes. - Continuously evaluate performance, cost, and scalability. - Engineering - Collaborate closely with product, engineering, ML, and customer success. - Help define technical standards and infrastructure direction. - Participate in architecture discussions across the platform. - Mentor other engineers on cloud infrastructure and operational best practices. Qualifications - 5+ years building and operating production software systems. - Strong experience with AWS in production environments. - Experience designing Infrastructure as Code using Pulumi, Terraform, or CloudFormation. - Experience building CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions. - Strong Python experience. - Experience building APIs and backend systems. Requirements - You should be comfortable working with technologies such as: - AWS (multi-account environments using AWS Organizations) - ECS - Docker - IAM - VPC networking - RDS - S3 - Lambda - CloudWatch - SNS/SQS - Event-driven architectures - Experience with some of the following is highly desirable: - Amazon Bedrock - SageMaker - Vector databases - Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) - LLM evaluation pipelines - Model deployment - ML infrastructure - Dagster or similar orchestration platforms Working Style - You automate repetitive work instead of documenting it. - You care about reliability as much as shipping features. - You enjoy improving developer experience. - You think systems should become simpler over time. - You take ownership rather than waiting for someone else to fix infrastructure problems. Mindset - Strong written communication. - Comfortable working in ambiguity. - Curious about modern AI infrastructure and where it's headed. - Interested in building systems that engineers enjoy working in. - Excited by the challenge of building infrastructure from the ground up rather than inheriting a mature platform. Nice to have - Pulumi experience - Dagster experience - Amazon Bedrock - SageMaker - OpenSearch - ECS - PostgreSQL - Redis - New Relic or modern observability platforms - Experience supporting AI or ML products - SOC 2 or security/compliance experience - Startup experience What this isn't - This isn't a traditional DevOps role where tickets get tossed over the wall after development. - This isn't an SRE role focused exclusively on uptime. - This isn't an ML engineering role building models. - You're building the platform that allows all of those disciplines to move faster. - You'll own infrastructure decisions, improve how software gets delivered, and help shape the technical foundation of an AI company that's still early enough for your decisions to matter years from now.

Account Executive, Expansion & Renewal

Givzey

The first Give now, Pay later donation solution enabling donors to make the biggest impact on their favorite nonprofits.

Full TimeRemoteMid LevelTeam 1-10H1B No Sponsor

Role Description Version2.ai has 175+ clients deploying our Virtual Engagement Officer (VEO) — an autonomous AI that manages one-to-one donor relationships at scale for universities, nonprofits, and healthcare foundations. Most of those clients started with one VEO to manage a portfolio of 1,000 donors, and their success has begun leading to rapid expansion to cover more of the tens of thousands of donors who could benefit from VEO engagement. We're hiring an Account Executive, Expansion & Renewal to actively own two things within our customer base: - Growing accounts through additional VEO deployments - Ensuring renewals close cleanly and on time This role will closely partner with CSMs on identifying expansion opportunities, join QBRs where opportunity exists to build relationships with decision makers, and drive expansion conversations and timelines. On the renewal side, they'll work alongside the CSM to negotiate terms, execute paperwork, manage timing, and engage executive stakeholders when a renewal needs senior attention. They'll be responsible for quarterly goals across both motions. This is a farmer role, not a hunter. Your pipeline is already installed. Your job is to cultivate it. What You'll Own - Senior Relationship Development - Map the decision-making structure at each assigned client account — identify the VP, CDO, or executive who controls budget for expanded deployments - Build and maintain direct relationships with senior leaders across our full customer base collaboratively with the account's CSM - Position yourself as a strategic partner to leadership, not a vendor checking in — bring data, peer benchmarks, and ROI framing to every conversation - Stay close enough to each account that expansion conversations happen proactively, not reactively - Partnering with Customer Success - Work hand-in-hand with the assigned CSM on each account. A solid partnership with this team is critical to success in this role. - Let the CSM surface performance data, use case gaps, and expansion signals; you translate those into a business case for senior leadership - Never disrupt the CSM's relationship with the organization — your outreach to leadership should feel coordinated and additive, and in tune with the customer's health - Participate in QBRs to identify upsell timing and framing - Upsell & Renewal Execution - Develop tailored expansion proposals for each account — additional VEOs, new program areas, broader donor segments - Work with CSMs to plan and carefully coordinate renewal conversation timing, joining business reviews and ensuring early renewal contract executions - Lead pricing conversations, negotiate terms, and close expansion and renewal agreements - Manage HubSpot opportunity records for all active upsell deals with accurate staging and forecasting - Coordinate contract paperwork on expansion orders and renewals with our Deal Desk — ensuring nothing stalls on the administrative side Qualifications - 3–7 years of SaaS sales experience, with meaningful time in an expansion, renewal, or account management role — not just new logo hunting - Meaningful exposure to fundraising, advancement, or development — either as a practitioner (gift officer, development director, annual giving manager) or through sustained sales experience selling specifically into higher education, nonprofit, or healthcare advancement offices - Demonstrated ability to build relationships with VP and C-suite buyers - Track record of closing upsell or expansion deals, not just managing accounts - Emotional intelligence to navigate a two-relationship structure - Strong written and verbal communication - Experience presenting to executive leadership teams - HubSpot or equivalent CRM proficiency - Available for occasional travel to meet our customers at conferences and industry events Nice to Have - Experience managing multi-stakeholder deals where you navigated both a day-to-day relationship and a separate executive decision-maker - Experience at a company with fewer than 500 employees where you had to build process, not just follow it What This Is Not This is not a new logo role. You won't be cold-calling prospects or building pipeline from scratch. If you thrive on the hunt and find account management tedious, this isn't the right fit. Renewal is part of this role — but you don't own it alone. CS owns the client relationship and the outcome; your job is to be the partner that makes renewals execute cleanly.

Deal Desk Manager

Givzey

The first Give now, Pay later donation solution enabling donors to make the biggest impact on their favorite nonprofits.

Manager32 days ago
Full TimeRemoteLeadTeam 1-10H1B No Sponsor

Role Description Version2.ai is growing fast. We crossed 200 clients and closed our strongest sales quarter on record — and the paperwork hasn't kept up. Every deal we close requires a contract, and every client we keep requires a renewal. Right now that work sits with our VP of Sales, and that's not sustainable. We're hiring a Deal Desk Manager to own the entire post-verbal-commit process: getting contracts redlined, negotiated, signed, and filed — and doing the same for renewals at scale. You'll report directly to our VP of Sales and operate as the connective tissue between Sales, Customer Success, and our standard terms. This is an execution-first role. We don't need a strategist. We need someone who knows how SaaS contracts work, can negotiate confidently with procurement and legal counterparts at universities and nonprofits, and won't let a deal die in paperwork. The role will grow. As we scale, you'll take on broader sales operations responsibilities — pipeline reporting, process documentation, HubSpot hygiene, and forecasting support. We want someone who wants to build that function, not inherit it. What You'll Own - Contracts & Deal Execution (Day One) - Manage all new contract redlining and negotiation from verbal commit to signed MSA — working from our standard terms and knowing when to hold firm and when to make a concession - Own all supporting deal paperwork: Service Orders, DPAs, BAAs (healthcare clients), and any addenda - Serve as the primary point of contact for prospect legal and procurement teams during contracting - Maintain clean deal records in HubSpot through the close process - Flag contract risk or non-standard terms to the VP of Sales before committing - Renewals (Day One) - Own the full renewal paperwork cycle across 200+ clients and growing - Coordinate with Customer Success on timing, pricing, and term changes - Track renewal pipeline and keep CS and Sales informed of upcoming deadlines - Ensure fully executed renewals are filed and reflected accurately in HubSpot - Sales Operations (Growth Path — 6 to 18 Months) - Pipeline reporting and forecasting support for VP of Sales and board materials - Process documentation: building the playbooks, templates, and approval frameworks that don't exist yet - HubSpot data integrity and deal stage governance - Quota and comp modeling support as the team expands Qualifications - 3–6 years of experience in deal desk, sales operations, legal operations, or contract management at a SaaS company - Direct experience redlining and negotiating SaaS contracts — MSAs, subscription agreements, DPAs — with real counterparts, not just internal approvals - Comfortable holding your ground in a negotiation while keeping the relationship intact - Highly organized: you can manage 10–20 active contract threads simultaneously without letting anything slip - HubSpot proficiency (or equivalent CRM — we use HubSpot and you'll live in it) - Strong written communication skills — you'll be emailing procurement directors at universities and hospital systems Nice to Have - Experience with higher education, nonprofit, or healthcare clients — their procurement processes are different and familiarity helps - Exposure to HIPAA contracting (BAAs) and nonprofit/grant-funded purchasing cycles - Experience in a high-growth company where the playbook didn't fully exist yet - Familiarity with revenue operations concepts beyond contracting What This Is Not This is not a strategy role. You won't be building go-to-market models or owning company OKRs. You will be executing — every day — on the operational work that keeps deals moving and clients renewing. If you're looking for a role where you'll present to the board in month two, this isn't it. If you want to build something real and grow your scope as the company scales, read on.
