Role Description WSP is seeking a Senior Project Management Area Lead for our Power & Energy Management Team. The Senior Project Management Area Lead is responsible for managing the day-to-day activities of the local and/or regional project management team to produce a product consistent with WSP mission statement and our culture. - Lead by example in adhering to WSP's culture and defined project management and business practices. - Achieve the goals of the business plan, maintain WSP's high-quality standards, promote internal teamwork, and meet client needs. - Focus on division goals to enhance client connection, maintain uncompromising quality, and build a better future together. - Build a team atmosphere critical to the success of our Department in the South and Southwest Region. - Position will be based out of Houston, TX, Austin, TX, or Fort Worth, TX with the ability to work remotely. - Ability to travel to a WSP and/or Client office for periodic face-to-face meetings. Qualifications - Bachelor's in Engineering, Construction Management or other related field within the Power & Energy Market, or equivalent experience in a technical or engineering firm. - 15+ years of relevant post-education experience in a project management role within the Power Delivery/Utility Industry. - Minimum of 5 years applicable industry experience working and/or providing engineering services for IOUs, IPPs, Co-Ops, Munis, etc. - Minimum of 5 years of experience leading engineering and/or construction teams on medium to large electrical utility scale clients for medium, high voltage and/or extra high voltage power delivery type projects. • Familiarity with Project Management (Predictive, Hybrid) and Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, Lean) best practices. • Facilitate team workshops and Agile ceremonies, such as User Story Mapping, daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives. • Proactively identify risks and remove obstacles that may hinder the team's progress. • Collaborate with internal Product and Engineering team members only. • Planning, organizing, and coordinating Agile projects from initiation to completion

• Leads and coordinates professional services for our existing and new client base. • Plays a critical role in driving the successful execution and completion of projects, leveraging agile and iterative methodologies. • Manages scope, cost, schedule, customer expectations, internal staffing and outside vendors, and contractual deliverable. • Prepares reports for upper management and customers regarding status of project. • Direct and manage project development timelines from beginning to end, under minimal supervision. • Lead effective planning and estimation activities for predictable delivery of critical outcomes. • Develop and maintain program and release plans, adapting to changing requirements and priorities while ensuring alignment with business objectives. • Regularly assess progress, monitor and identify risks and issues, and proactively address issues and risks to keep projects on track. • Prioritize initiatives and deliverables based on strategic goals, resource availability, and potential business impact. • Coordinate all activities within the project team to ensure that project tasks are completed on time. • Maintain required project documentation, per PMO processes. • Facilitate the adoption of agile methodologies within the project and client teams, promoting iterative development, continuous improvement, and adaptability. • Work closely with team leads to plan iterations, define user stories, and prioritize tasks for efficient project execution. • Remove obstacles and ensure the teams have the necessary resources and support to deliver high-quality results. • Encourage a test-and-learn culture that emphasizes data-driven decision-making and helps identify optimal solutions faster. • Lead development of measurable program objectives aligned directly with company goals. • Analyze project results to provide insights for continuous improvement and decision-making. • Provide timely updates to executive leadership and stakeholders on program status, achievements, and any potential roadblocks. • Clearly convey complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences, ensuring effective communication and understanding. • Successfully prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment. • Lead collaboration with product managers, business analysts, software engineers, and business stakeholders to gather requirements, define scope, and align priorities across multiple product domains and platform teams. • Foster effective communication and collaboration between Consulting Services teams and other departments to ensure seamless integration of data-driven insights into product development.

• Oversee rail construction and maintenance projects while coordinating with customers, vendors, and internal teams to ensure safe and efficient project execution • Responsible for workforce planning, project scheduling, inventory management, pricing support, operational performance, and maintaining strong customer relationships • Walk railroad tracks to identify deficiencies and prepare project proposals and pricing recommendations • Read and analyze requests for proposals (RFPs) and develop professional customer responses • Oversee project operations to ensure customer requirements and project expectations are met • Coordinate crews, equipment, materials, and vendors across multiple job sites • Ensure all work is performed safely and in compliance with company procedures and regulations • Maintain strong customer relationships by delivering high levels of service and operational support • Conduct inspections of crews, tools, vehicles, and equipment • Support pricing analysis, budgeting, cost tracking, and operational forecasting • Monitor payroll, fuel, equipment, and project costs to ensure operational efficiency • Manage inventory, purchase orders, and material deliveries to job sites • Coordinate preventive maintenance programs with mechanical teams • Assist in workforce planning and crew scheduling to ensure balanced skill coverage • Complete administrative reporting including billing, audits, evaluations, and project reporting • Lead and support field crews to ensure projects are completed safely and on schedule • Perform additional duties as assigned
