Role Description This is an exciting opportunity for a confident communications professional to make a difference to the staff and volunteers in our organisation across the UK. We're looking for an Internal Communications Officer to own, manage and develop the internal communications function within the charity. You'll be joining a fantastic team who are passionate and dedicated to delivering the best possible communications for our staff and volunteers. Responsibilities - Support the delivery of the internal communications and engagement strategy, providing clear organisation wide messaging to staff and volunteers. - Create and develop communication plans and key messages to support the delivery of organisational priorities. - Manage and develop the organisation's internal communication channels, including email newsletters, an internal staff website and leadership broadcasts. - Coordinate content activity across all channels, to ensure staff and volunteers are informed and engaged in organisational projects and activities. - Enhance staff engagement and help drive cultural and behavioural change by telling the story of our people, our services and our charity. - Measure, track and evaluate internal communications activities, using evidence to build on and improve effectiveness. - Advise and work collaboratively with colleagues in the wider Communications team, Change Management team and other departments on how to influence workforce behaviour through high impact internal communications. - Share best practice, upskill and empower staff to improve how they communicate and engage. Qualifications - 3+ years' experience in a communications or marketing role. - Proven ability to develop and deliver impactful, creative communications plans. - Experience of managing communications channels including email campaigns and websites. - Excellent writing and editing skills with the ability to communicate complex information in an accessible, jargon free format. - Proficient IT skills especially in PowerPoint, Word and Excel. - Strong relationship management and interpersonal skills. Role Description We have an exciting opportunity for a Foreign Nationals Outreach Worker who has the skills and experience to assess and engage with our service users, ensuring that they access the right intervention at the right time, in a way that best meets their needs. The Outreach and Community Team work with service users with substance misuse, who are experiencing rough sleeping, or at risk of homelessness. We are looking for a compassionate, empathetic and proactive individual who can specialise with engaging EU Nationals to work with services and achieve positive outcomes for those they are supporting. The successful post holder will be able to communicate effectively with service users from Romania and at least 1 other EU member state (Czech, Slovakian, Lithuanian, Polish, Latvian, Hungarian). Responsibilities - Hold a caseload of EU Foreign Nationals who are experiencing rough sleeping and substance misuse issues. - Work in collaboration with internal teams to support service users to progress in their recovery. - Engage with Foreign Nationals who are rough sleeping, sex working by participating in street-based outreach sessions at various times of the day and night. - Act as the main coordinator providing comprehensive assessments and Drug and Alcohol support. - Provide screening, assessment, and recovery planning and onward referral. - Reduce drug and alcohol related harm to service users and the wider community. - Provide advocacy for access to partnership services. - Complete planned outreach projects with partner agencies to offer support to individuals who require assistance. - Support social (re)integration, enabling service users to lead meaningful and purposeful lives. - Work with the Police, the Home Office and anti-trafficking agencies when necessary to address issues relating to exploitation and trafficking. Qualifications - Strong understanding of substance misuse issues and experience of working within a similar field. - Ability to communicate effectively with service users from at least two EU member states (Czech, Slovakian, Lithuanian, Polish, Latvian, Hungarian, Romanian). - Proactive and able to work on own initiative with excellent time management and prioritising skills. - Knowledge of services available in various countries of origin. - Supportive team player with strong interpersonal skills. - Understanding of information governance processes and commitment to follow necessary safeguards. - Seek out learning opportunities to improve and broaden professional knowledge and skills. - Experience of working with people who have been trafficked or victims of modern-day slavery. Volunteers will help provide a safe, supportive, and welcoming virtual environment, offer encouragement, and assist people to stay engaged with their recovery and wellbeing. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive difference while gaining experience in telehealth and recovery support. Successful applicants will be required to attend training in June, which will equip volunteers with the skills and confidence needed to provide effective telehealth support. Responsibilities About the role This is a national, home-based role with regular travel to services. At its core, this is a facilitation role. You’ll lead the delivery of accredited and regulated learning programmes, creating engaging, inclusive learning experiences, and support the development of communities of practice to help people to develop and succeed. As a Service Liaison Officer (maternity cover), you will play a vital role in supporting this transformation, ensuring our services feel informed, connected, and supported. In this role, you will work closely with more than 120 services across the UK, building strong relationships and providing proactive, consistent communication. You will be a key contact for services seeking support and guidance, helping them navigate communications resources, gathering insights, supporting new service mobilisations, and coordinating updates to our design‑to‑print platform. You will also work closely with colleagues across the wider Communications Team and provide project support to our Service Communications Partners where required. Location: Remote working with travel to Brighton and London offices. Hours: Full Time 37.5 hours per week Full Time Salary: £30,134.90 - £34,214.21 (pro rata if part time) Contract Type: Fixed Term until the 11th of June 2027 Full-time hours at Change Grow Live are 37.5 hours per week. Responsibilities About the Role: - Act as a central point of contact for services across the UK, building and maintaining strong professional relationships with services. - Respond to service requests submitted via our Request Form and other channels, scoping, filtering and coordinating viable tasks and project briefs via Microsoft Planner and Trello. - Support the Communications Team Leader with updates and improvements to the Connect Marketing design-to-print portal. - Proactively develop engagement with services, providing regular outbound communications to Marketing Champions and Service Managers where appropriate. - Project manage key elements of new service mobilisations. - Monitor stock levels and order service clothing, merchandise, and materials to the warehouse. - Attend regular team meetings and collaborate closely with colleagues across the Communications Team. - Provide administrative support to the Service Communications Partners on projects and service mobilisations. - Coordinate specific service campaigns, monitor and evaluate performance, feeding insights back to the Lead Communications Partner. - Uphold the quality and standards of the Change Grow Live identity, ensuring all communications align with audience insights, brand guidelines, tone of voice and organisational values.
