Role Description TECHNICAL EDITOR SENIOR - Technical editor to support Vertical Launch System (VLS) systems technical data documentation requirements for US Navy and Foreign Military Sales (FMS). - Provide technical editing support for the review and development of VLS technical procedures, processes, and manuals that are published in Interactive Electronic Technical Manuals (IETM’s), MS Office applications and Adobe PDFs. - Gather, process, analyze, reconcile and enter VLS systems engineering data and fleet modernization data in support of IETM’s, Ship Alteration Systems, Temporary Alteration Records, Engineering Change Orders, Engineering Change Proposals and Navy Training System Plans. - Collaborate with other team members in the development, production and distribution of VLS documentation materials within GDIT and to various government customers.
