Role Description We are currently seeking a Technical Aide for a part-time position. This position is ideal for a college student. Hours will vary depending on work-load and schedules. - Learn to understand the engineered systems that comprise the built environment: Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, etc. (MEP). Your instruction will be accomplished through facility site audits, mentorship from our team of experts, and your own initiative. - Identify strategies for improving the efficiency of the MEP systems within a building, evaluating opportunities for distributed energy resources (solar, battery storage, and EV chargers), and exploring facility infrastructure upgrades. - Mathematically evaluate efficiency measures through spreadsheet analysis and detailed energy modeling. - Calculate the financial costs and savings from implementing various projects. - Share any findings through verbal communication and written reports.
