• Authorize, direct and monitor care for behavioral health and/or substance abuse problems according to clinical information given by providers and internal criteria for medical necessity and appropriateness of care • Conduct peer reviews with psychologists, behavioral health therapists and/or Board Certified Behavior Analysts for outpatient services and/or psychological testing requests • Interact with network practitioners to provide education on best practice models and utilization management processes • Interact with the Medical Director, or designee, to discuss clinical authorization questions and concerns regarding specific cases • Respond to state, provider, and member complaints related to psychological testing or other services requiring review by a PhD/PsyD • Facilitate outpatient rounds offering clinical input and oversight related to outpatient services • Performs other duties as assigned. Role Description Provide comprehensive psychological services virtually to students in a school-based setting. You'll conduct evaluations, support IEP and 504 plan development, provide crisis intervention, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure every student has the support they need to succeed. Role Description Responsible for A/R, and mail follow-up on amounts due from Payor’s, and third-party’s on a timely basis in accordance with CBO policies for facilities assigned. Responsibility for timely collections and third-party follow-up. Performs other related duties as assigned or requested. This is a non-exempt position. - Provide support to all facilities when requests are received or assistance is needed. Be timely and responsive to all requests. - Treat our facilities with respect and confidentiality by adherence to all applicable policies and procedures. - Promote the Mission and Vision of Post Acute Medical within the work environment and the community. - Maintain the highest level of customer service via courtesy, compassion, and positive communication. - Respond to payor’s by phone, or correspondence concerning underpaid, or non-paid account balances. - Assist with all call types, correspondence, and concerns regarding patient accounts. - Refer rebill requests to the billing department timely. - Maintain tickler file of accounts, following up by telephone, correspondence, on underpaid, or non-paid balances. - Refer accounts to Supervisor/Manager, or CBO Director for write-off consideration, agency, or attorney referral. - Manage CBO Aging Report properly to ensure appeals are followed up timely to prevent past filing deadlines. - Communicate all denial write-offs to Collection Supervisor and Collections Manager. - Aggressively work aged accounts to reduce bad debt A/R days. - Meet corporate goals monthly on collections. - Work with others as a team player, as well as supporting staff, and hospital/clinic staff. - Work a minimum of 18 collection accounts daily. - Investigate refund/credit, recoupment balances as necessary. - Utilize all payor web sites available to increase efficiency of collections. - Responsible for timely medical records requests and submission of appeals. - Maintain adequately trained staff to achieve daily productivity requirements. - Responsible for workflow management within the Collection Team and recommendations for process improvement. - Assist in coaching and development as a mentor for new training initiatives. - Work collaboratively with leadership and other team leaders to confirm and provide trending solutions. - File complaints when appropriate for delays in reimbursements, discrepancies in reimbursements, or underpaid accounts. - Interpret Managed Care Contracts. - Work collaboratively with team members and staff outside of the CBO to resolve issues on accounts, including but not limited to Managed Care, Reimbursement, Clinical, Admissions, Facility Business Office Manager, Coding, Case Management, HIM, and Charge Master Departments.
