Psychologist – Veteran Affairs Disability Evaluations

• Complete and submit all required documentation expeditiously (within 48 hours) and accurately in the required format. • It is essential to be reliable and dependable to guarantee that veteran appointments are conducted successfully and that documentation is submitted promptly, as veterans’ benefits and care are contingent upon these actions. • Must possess excellent time management skills and the capacity to efficiently sift through and identify relevant information. • Required to provide availability weekly and report appointment completions and no-shows to the lead scheduler following every shift. • Provide exceptional customer service.
Job Requirements
- PsyD or PhD from an APA-accredited doctoral program with a concentration in clinical or forensic psychology or counseling.
- Must have a valid and unrestricted license to practice as an independent psychologist in any State, the District of Columbia, or a Commonwealth, territory, or possession of the United States.
- Experience conducting VA Disability Questionnaires is preferred; Will consider applicants who have experience conducting disability and/or forensic evaluations.
- Must be comfortable working independently with minimal supervision.
- Must be able to provide at least 5 hours of availability on a regular basis.
- Experienced in one or more Electronic Health Records.
- Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Teams).
- Must be a US citizen and reside in the United States.
- PsyPact preferred.

• Provide psychological counseling to employees by telephone and chat on a wide range of issues related to work, relationships, family, social matters, health, etc. • Conduct initial support calls after traumatic events • Provide telephone consultation to managers on various leadership tasks (managing employees with mental health difficulties, substance use at the workplace, etc.) • Deliver workshops and training sessions for employees and managers
• Assessing patients through online interviews, observations. • Talking to the patients about their problems to try to resolve them. • Providing patients with emotional support and strategies to help manage their disorder. • Perform psychological assessments, testing, and evaluation. • Identify psychological, emotional, behavioral, or organizational issues and diagnose disorders. • Develop and recommend treatment plans based on patient needs and diagnosis. • Research and identify behavioral or emotional patterns. • Discuss the treatment of problems with patients. • Diagnosing patients accurately and treating patients using psychological therapies. • Following up with the patient to check progress, develop a treatment plan, measure progress against the plan, and make adjustments as needed.
