Role Description We're looking for a motivated, detail-oriented Business Analyst to join our growing team at Coforma. This role will join a cross-functional team on an existing contract with the Department of Transportation (DOT) Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA). As a Business Analyst, you’ll support FMCSA with a collection of web-hosted Tableau dashboards that facilitate quick, reliable, and accurate access to FMCSA data reporting. - Develop, maintain, and enhance Tableau dashboards and reports to support business and product decision - Analyze the goals and business objectives of stakeholders across multiple teams and develop solutions that fit their business needs - Troubleshoot data discrepancies and resolve reporting issues, and opportunities for improvement - Perform data reconciliation and quality/accuracy testing - Update and maintain SharePoint site content with supporting information for a variety of user processes (e.g., FAQs, access request guidance, user guides, etc.) - Monitor shared user support email box and directly engage with stakeholders and users for all types of inquiries including account and/or access issues, training/demos, enhancement requests, and more - Identify opportunities to streamline and improve the requirements gathering process and develop and maintain documentation and process guides for internal procedures Qualifications - A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in a Business Analyst role defining data and business process requirements (experience working on federal contracts is strongly preferred) - Advanced proficiency with Tableau and strong understanding and experience with data visualization and reporting required - Experience creating dashboards in Tableau and using Tableau Prep Builder for data preparation and backend support - Knowledge and grasp of the principles, theories, and concepts of the agile software development life cycle - Excellent time management and coordination skills with the ability to quickly adjust and reprioritize tasks and projects as needed - Comfortable working and directly engaging with a diverse group of technical stakeholders both independently and in group settings - Must have the ability to obtain Public Trust and pass a DOT background investigation Requirements - Intermediate to advanced knowledge and experience using Tableau is required - Ability to work in a highly agile environment where work planning and execution occurs iteratively Benefits - $81,600 to $92,898.54 Annual Salary + Benefits + Growth Potential - Placement within this range will be based on the competency level of the candidate - Travel (~10%) to the DOT FMCSA headquarters in Washington, DC will be required Other - Will prioritize and maintain access to strong, reliable internet for the remote nature of our work, except when on vacation or holiday - Will keep the highest security practices to ensure privacy and security of Coforma and client information - On request and with advanced notice, will attend in-person events such as meetings, workshops, and trainings as assigned for projects that require it - Will represent Coforma professionally and sincerely, modeling our Company Values in all interactions
Job Requirements
