This description is a summary of our understanding of the job description. Click on 'Apply' button to find out more. Role Description CGI is seeking an OBIEE Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate should be proficient in installation, configuration, and patching of OBIEE/OAS and WebLogic Server. This position is fully remote but requires working Eastern Standard Time hours. Occasional weekend or evening work may be required for migrations, patch deployments, and maintenance activities. Your future duties and responsibilities: - Responsible for keeping the Oracle BI environment stable, secure, and fast, while supporting developers and business users. - Core responsibilities include: - Install, configure, and upgrade OBIEE (12c) - Manage RPD files (merge, deploy, version control) - Configure security (users, roles, application roles, LDAP/AD) - Monitor performance and tune: BI Server Presentation Services WebLogic - Troubleshoot report errors, login issues, data latency - Manage caching strategies - Migrations (DEV → TEST → PROD) - Work with DBAs on database connectivity and query optimization - Apply patches and PSU updates - Handle backups and disaster recovery - Advanced SQL and PL/SQL for database querying and performance tuning. - Knowledge of ETL tools (e.g., ODI, Informatica) and data warehouse concepts Qualifications - Strong experience with installation, configuration, and patching of OBIEE/OAS and WebLogic Server - Expertise in security management, including LDAP/AD authentication, Authorization, Object level and data level security - Proven ability in performance management and system troubleshooting - Advanced skills in SQL & PL/SQL for database querying and performance tuning - Solid understanding of ETL tools (e.g., ODI) and data warehousing concepts Benefits - Competitive compensation - Comprehensive insurance options - Matching contributions through the 401(k) plan and the share purchase plan - Paid time off for vacation, holidays, and sick time - Paid parental leave - Learning opportunities and tuition assistance - Wellness and Well-being programs
