Role Description Trust Payments has an exciting opportunity for a QA Engineer to join their team. This role is predominantly remote, however occasional travel to our technology headquarters in Bangor, UK will be required. In this role, you will: - Develop and maintain automated tests for both services and UI using tools such as Selenium and Cucumber, following a BDD framework. - Apply a solid understanding of design principles to write clean, maintainable test code in Java or Python, whilst contributing to a CI/CD pipeline environment. - Work closely with the test manager and project teams to develop and maintain automated functional and regression tests in line with defined scripting standards. - Apply a thorough understanding of testing concepts, methodologies, and processes across the full software product development lifecycle. - Raise and manage defects clearly and efficiently using tools such as Jira to ensure quality is maintained throughout delivery. What We Expect of You, Day To Day: - Maintain and improve the automated test framework. - Create new automated tests and investigate test failures. - Write automated tests following the BDD framework and contribute input to developers for unit-level tests. - Investigate defects reported by stakeholders and end users, supporting the team to identify root causes and appropriate fixes. - Perform manual and exploratory testing against new features. - Attend team retrospectives and workshops to support continual improvement. - Define and add new test cases into different automated test packs, capturing test results and defects. - Understand requirements and testing processes to define test plans with continuous review of scope. - Provide test estimations and a clear testing approach to the Product Owner and team. • Manage Supplier Quality Assurance (SQA) processes across local and international suppliers • Perform supplier audits, qualification, and development (India & Asia region) • Drive incoming material inspection (copper, insulation, components, tanks) • Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, IEC standards, and customer specifications • Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and implement CAPA for supplier-related issues • Monitor and improve supplier performance (KPIs, PPM, defect rates) • Support supplier localization strategy in India (cost, quality, lead time optimization) • Coordinate NDT inspections (UT, RT, VT, PT) for supplier components • Work closely with procurement and engineering to ensure technical alignment with suppliers • Support customer inspections and audits related to supplier quality

Qualifications - Prefer a Bachelor's Degree in the field of Chemistry, Food Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related areas. - Between 3‐5 years of experience in food manufacturing required, preferably in the beverage industry. - Between 3‐5 years of experience in supplier qualification, powder blending, risk management, deviation investigations. - Computer Skills: Word and Excel (desirable knowledge in Smartsheet) and Microsoft Outlook. - Preferred Certifications: Experience presenting technical data, technical reports for internal and external use. - Languages preferred: Portuguese: Fluent; English: Intermediate to Advanced; Spanish: Basic. Requirements - Ability to handle sensitive matters with a high level of confidentiality and discretion. - Audit and review all production run paperwork, batch sheets, line check logs, etc. - Filing completed documentation. - Make decisions regarding the release of products to the market with established policies, processes, and company guidelines. - Assist with special tasks and projects as assigned. - Accurately record contract packing facility information onto Excel spreadsheets. - Work closely with the department leadership while in support of business unit goals. - Visit product manufacturing facilities and lead quality control related investigations together with the larger QC team.
