Vice President – International Business, Americas

• In partnership with the International Team, spearhead the development of the region's long-term strategic growth plan that strengthen and accelerate the brands, its business, competitive position and uniqueness/consumer differentiation • Identify and secure franchise strategic partnerships that align and drive the overall value of Inspire Brands' business. This will include strengthening the franchise system through the identification and selection of new investors and/or franchise partners, the execution of franchise development growth agreements with existing franchise partners • Lead a high-performing team through performance management, accountability and continuous development to ensure they can effectively and efficiently achieve the company’s strategic priorities • Build high trust, positive, value-added and collaborative relationship with the franchisee community • Model key leadership traits, generating enthusiasm and rallying the team towards a shared set of goals • Work on the ground and lead a cross a global matrix organization, motivating various teams in operating together • Identifies and meets with key players and stake holders to help them shape a consensus collectively and engages in a dialogue to reach a final conclusion together, compromising as necessary for results

Job Requirements

  • 4-year Degree or equivalent certification in Communications, Learning Design, Human Resources, Organizational Development, or field related to understanding human behavior; MBA preferred
  • 10+ years’ experience in restaurant, retail or consumer-facing organizations with excellent knowledge of the full range of international franchise systems -- from master franchise agreements, to joint ventures and building a portfolio of franchisees
  • 5+ years’ experience holding P&L responsibility for a business of similar size/scale with proven track record of achieving corporate targets, preferably with turnaround experience.
  • Written and verbal communication skills in Spanish and English
  • Ability to build relationships and work seamlessly across a global matrix organization
  • Demonstrates an expert level of knowledge of franchisee organizations with the ability to establish strong network with key decisions makers
  • Enables higher performance by incrementally improving approaches based on calculated risks and benefits
  • Proactively seeks to improve processes and implement best in class solutions, raising quality and productivity in a calculated way
  • Identifies new processes and/or systems to improve productivity and/or make the business more efficient
  • Promotes collaboration across multiple parties
  • Leads by example, humble and with ability to influence
  • Independent, self-motivated, with strong emotional intelligence and interpersonal skills.
