Role Description The AI Product Engineer is a mid to senior level individual contributor responsible for designing, building, and shipping the internal tools, applications, dashboards, and automations that power Koin’s operations. Everything you build ships to real users across the business and directly supports revenue, margin, and operational efficiency. This is a product engineering role with a difference: we build AI-natively. Claude Code is the primary development environment, and the expectation is that you orchestrate AI to produce production-grade software rather than hand-coding it line by line. You must, however, genuinely understand what is being built. Reading the code, questioning the architecture, and catching what the AI gets wrong is central to the job. You will take features from an approved Statement of Work through Technical Design Document, build, testing, and deployment on our internal product stack: - Next.js applications hosted on Vercel - Supabase as the data layer (Postgres, Row Level Security, edge functions) - n8n for workflow orchestration - GitHub for source control The wider business runs on NetSuite, Shopify, and Patchworks, and the tools you build will frequently integrate with them.
