• Partner with Product and Creative leaders to refine roles and responsibilities within the "Triangle of Execution." • Advise frontline managers and Directors on performance management, career development, and team dynamics. • Drive the execution of our performance culture by leading the semi-annual review process and ensuring that high-performing talent is recognized and rewarded. • Assist leaders in planning their team structures and headcount needs to elevate our AI-powered personalized care experience. • Independently analyze and resolve complex employee relations matters or organizational bottlenecks. • Translate People Team priorities into actionable departmental goals as the "go-to" person for People-related issues. • Influence diverse audiences—from analytical Product Managers to visionary Designers—to adopt best practices in talent management and organizational health. • Partner with other HRBPs and the Recruiting team for a seamless talent experience.
Job Requirements
- 6+ years of progressive HR experience, ideally with experience supporting fast-paced tech or creative organizations.
- Ability to solve problems of a diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors.
- Solid understanding of HR principles and practices (compensation, performance, employment law, and org design) and how they apply to Product and Creative teams.
- Strong ability to persuade others and adapt your style to meet the needs of different functional stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.

The Deputy Director must have a sophisticated understanding of public administration, change management, and public interest technology, ensuring that the strategic objectives are translated into measurable results through rigorous project management and inter-agency coordination. The primary worksite is the State Capitol Executive Tower (1700 W. Washington St., Phoenix, AZ 85007). Applicants must reside within commuting distance to Phoenix. The position offers the potential for remote work up to two days per week at the discretion of the Director, and to the extent it does not interfere with fulfilling responsibilities of the position.
