Senior Solutions Engineer

n8n

• Lead Enterprise technical discovery, deep-dive calls, and tailored demos, showing how n8n fits into complex customer environments while addressing security, scalability, and reliability requirements • Partner closely with Account Executives to assess technical fit, shape deal strategy, and handle technical objections, delivering demos grounded in real Enterprise workflows and use cases • Own Enterprise POCs end-to-end, from scoping success criteria to hands-on technical guidance throughout the evaluation • Help customers validate n8n in real-world conditions and capture POC learnings to improve qualification, conversion, and handoff to Solution Architecture/Customer Success • Build strong relationships with IT, Security, Platform, and Engineering stakeholders, acting as the primary technical contact during Enterprise evaluations • Clearly explain n8n’s approach to security, deployment, governance, and scale, helping customers plan adoption beyond their first use case • Collaborate with Sales to improve Enterprise technical discovery, demos, and POC frameworks • Provide structured feedback from Enterprise customers to Product and Engineering, and contribute to enablement materials that strengthen Enterprise sales motions

Job Requirements

  • 💼 Sales Engineering Experience: You have 6+ years of experience in a technical pre-sales or Sales Engineering role, ideally within B2B SaaS, with direct exposure to enterprise customers
  • 🗣 Excellent Communication Skills: You can clearly articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences and confidently engage with enterprise stakeholders
  • 🌐 Commercial Acumen: You understand sales processes and can creatively translate customer requirements into scalable technical solutions
  • 🤝 Relationship Building: You excel at building and maintaining relationships with clients, particularly within infrastructure teams on deployment requirements
  • 🔧 Strong Technical Proficiency: You bring hands-on experience with:
  • API integrations, OAuth, and authentication/authorization concepts
  • JavaScript and/or Python for scripting, integrations, or demos
  • Containerization and orchestration concepts (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • CI/CD and DevOps practices, including integrating applications into CI/CD pipelines
  • Networking fundamentals, security best practices, and observability concepts
  • ☁️ Cloud & Infrastructure Awareness: You have a solid understanding of at least one major cloud platform (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and common cloud services used in modern SaaS architectures
  • 🚀 Startup Experience: You thrive in fast-paced, high-ownership startup environments and enjoy wearing multiple hats
  • ✈️ Travel-Ready: You’re open to occasional travel and onboarding sessions with the team in NYC / EMEA as needed
