Job Description

Enterprise Account Executive

Qumulo

Role Description Qumulo is growing our Healthcare & Life Sciences (HCLS) vertical, and this role is the spearhead for the largest global biopharma, medtech, payer and provider organizations in the Northeast. You'll focus on new logo hunting for major accounts along the lines of JnJ, Merck, Pfizer, Medtronic, GE Healthcare, HCA Healthcare and others. As our Account Executive you'll work across stakeholders at every level, from infrastructure leaders up to the C-suite, and be the face of Qumulo to the largest and most strategic Healthcare and Life Sciences customers. In return we offer a significant earning opportunity with uncapped commission and lucrative accelerators, global account ownership with local support, and a high-profile territory within a profitable, rapidly growing company that's already winning in the HCLS segment. As our Account Executive for Healthcare and Life Sciences, you will: - Own a named book of multi-billion-dollar healthcare and life sciences enterprises, with a focus on the top 20 biopharma plus leading medtech and provider accounts. - Identify strategic accounts, establish executive-level conversations and sales plays in each, and close enterprise deals. - Engage decision makers from infrastructure and IT through VP and C-suite, translating Qumulo's platform into business outcomes that matter to pharma R&D, biotech research, and medtech product development. - Manage global accounts with stakeholders across regions. - Play a major part in building the playbook for this vertical alongside our Sales Director, including ICP refinement, partner motions, and use case development. - Work closely with Sales Engineering, Customer Success, and Marketing to land and expand accounts. Qualifications - 5+ years directly selling complex technology into healthcare and life sciences, such as pharma, biotech, medtech, payer and provider. - Experience selling alongside life sciences–focused channel partners, VARs, or ISVs would be a bonus. - Experience selling unstructured data, storage, cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP), data infrastructure, AI infrastructure, or other complex hardware and software that bridges deep technical conversations with business value. - Track record of closing major enterprise deals with VP and C-level decision-makers. - Comfort with long, complex sales cycles where one or two deals a year is a win. - Ability to travel (up to 30%) to customer sites across the US and occasionally internationally. - Self-directed in ambiguous, greenfield territory and excited to build a pipeline from scratch. Requirements - The annual On-Target Earnings (OTE) for this role is $300,000 - $350,000 with uncapped commission, lucrative accelerator opportunities, and pre-IPO equity. - Individual pay depends on various factors, such as role level, relevant experience and skills. Pay ranges are reviewed and typically updated each year. Offers are made within the pay range applicable at the time. Benefits - Pre-IPO stock options - Flexible time-off policy - HSA and PPO health insurance options - Dental and Vision insurance - 401(k) plan - Travel or parking subsidy
