• Responsible for the creative execution of concepts and designs for retail display design • Create concepts, design, and execute retail displays and visual merchandising experiences • Collaborate with and work under supervision to execute a high volume of creative projects • Define work based on evaluation of short-term and long-term goals • Independently evaluate processes, identify areas of improvement, and incorporate them into overall work objectives • Develop creative and graphic concepts in collaboration with the team • Follow projects throughout all stages of print production and/or online deployment • Provide production support to produce technically correct, print-ready mechanicals • Interact regularly with creative leadership, creative partners, and team members • Interpret marketing ideas and turn them into visual reality • Receive feedback from management and use it to grow skills • Solve business challenges through marketing and smart creative design • Take ownership of projects and successfully execute through all stages of creative development • Maintain and enhance the client’s identity by working creatively within the corporate Brand • Understand the client’s design needs and methodology • Perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (required)
- Minimum 5-years experience in professional design or creative services (beauty experience is a plus)
- Strong developing portfolio of imaginative work
- Well-versed in Macintosh platform (OSX) and Adobe Creative Suite and other industry-standard design tools
- New ideas, great design sense, and copywriting skills are a plus
- Organizational skills, adaptability, and composure under fire are equally important
- Excellent interpersonal skills and proven ability to build and maintain strong and effective client and internal relationships
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to listen for understanding
- Strong project-management skills, organizational skills, and time-management skills
