Inside Sales Supervisor
Thermo Fisher Scientific
• Responsible for managing a team of inside sales professionals who sell clinical laboratory products and services • Creating a culture to support mentoring of new team members • Driving commercial accountability with the team across all metrics and marketing initiatives • Ensuring the team has effective customer relationships and develops opportunities for growth within an existing customer base • Completing account planning and forecasting, analyzing reports to drive business decisions • Managing performance through KPIs • Ensuring effective use of available sales tools and processes, especially Salesforce.com • Delivering performance evaluations and holding the team accountable for performance metrics • Maintaining effective customer relationships with purchasing, lab managers and end users within assigned territory • Working with the Sr. Manager of Inside Sales to research competitor and industry activity • Managing pricing within territory to control profitability • Maintaining accurate reporting and records necessary for proper management of region • Positively representing Thermo Fisher Scientific at all times throughout customer locations
Job Requirements
- 5 years of sales experience, preferably in the clinical laboratory industry
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in the sciences or equivalent work experience
- Prior Supervisor/Management experience preferred
- Experience with Salesforce.com
- Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication, and presentation skills
- Proven record of leadership in establishing goals and achieving results
- Computer proficiency in MS Office and the internet; Excel-must demonstrate intermediate to advanced Excel skills
- Must deliver excellent customer service
- Must possess the organizational skills to multi-task and meet deadlines as needed
- Must be willing to travel up to 25%
