• Partner with the Manager of Content Marketing to identify, evaluate, and prioritize opportunities that support Givebutter's organic growth and discovery goals. • Lead keyword research, content gap analysis, competitive intelligence, audience research, and search trend monitoring to uncover high-impact opportunities. • Translate search insights, performance data, and market trends into actionable recommendations that inform content strategy, optimization priorities, and future investments. • Partner closely with Content, Brand, Growth, and Product Marketing teams to shape content plans, optimization initiatives, and scalable workflows that improve discoverability and performance. • Drive the execution of strategic SEO initiatives, ensuring projects move forward effectively and deliver measurable impact. • Collaborate with the Technical SEO Manager to identify, prioritize, and evaluate technical opportunities that improve organic visibility, discoverability, and user experience. • Manage external SEO agencies and partners, providing direction, reviewing deliverables, and ensuring work aligns with strategic priorities and quality standards. • Build and refine frameworks, documentation, and operating processes that make SEO and discovery efforts more scalable, consistent, and effective over time. • Champion experimentation across traditional search, AI-powered discovery, and emerging channels, using structured testing and data-driven decision making to identify new opportunities. • Stay ahead of changes in search behavior, platform evolution, and industry trends, translating emerging opportunities into recommendations that help Givebutter adapt and grow.
Job Requirements
- 5+ years of SEO experience with demonstrated ownership of strategic initiatives and measurable impact on organic growth.
- Strong expertise across content-driven SEO, on-page optimization, keyword strategy, and search-driven content planning.
- Working knowledge of technical SEO concepts and the ability to collaborate effectively on technical recommendations and prioritization.
- Proficiency with leading SEO and analytics tools (e.g., GSC, GA4, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, Looker, etc.).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize data, identify opportunities, and communicate actionable recommendations.
- Experience working cross-functionally and influencing priorities across content, marketing, product, and technical stakeholders.
- Excellent communication, organization, and project management skills.
- Experience building workflows, frameworks, documentation, or systems that improve team effectiveness and scalability.
