District Sales Manager, Tools
Stanley Black & Decker
• Achieve annual operating plan by working with distributors to increase route averages • Conduct FEMs (Field Excellence Meetings) every 60 days • Conduct effective work-withs (truck ride a-longs) 3-4 days per week • Attract and retain distributors into the Mac Tools business • Conduct new franchisee training • Revisit to develop/coach as directed by Regional Manager • Manage regional credits and adjustments • Perform route surveys for new starts • Perform other duties as assigned
Job Requirements
- BA in business or related field
- Prior experience in the mobile tool sales industry
- Demonstrated success in recruiting new talent
- Strong organizational skills
- Proven time management skills
- Strong business acumen and relationship-building skills
- Knowledge of the local automotive repair market
- Minimum of 5 years of route/field sales experience
- Minimum of 2 years of management experience directing multiple field/route sales professionals
- Willingness to travel up to 80% within the specified sales territory
- Ability to lift more than 10 pounds, including bending, twisting, and pushing
- Willingness to live in the sales territory
