Program Finance Analyst 3
Draper
• Provides timely and accurate metrics on schedule and cost performance utilizing Earned Value or related processes • Supports all baseline development activities and development of charge numbers and WBS as applicable • Provides updates/changes as required, for programs with and without Earned Value requirements, in applicable tools (ERP or Cobra). • Provides analysis and reports on the performance variances to budget and assist with recovery plans as needed. • Analyzes and reports risks & Opportunities to the baseline cost, schedule, and the EAC. • Ensures timely maintenance of the Project-Activity Structure (Charge Numbers). • Provides timely completion of the Estimate at Complete (EAC) process, processing time-phased estimate to complete updates, and EAC package support for Program Financial Planning and Reporting. • Develops and Monitors the program level time-phased plan to support an overall program level view of revenue for forecast, budget, and 5-year planning processes. • Provides the financial data inputs, analysis, and applicable variance narrative for Program Management Reviews (PMRs) and Quarterly Business -Reviews (QBRs) • Provides timely invoicing and collection of customer receivables • Reviews and communicates the status of program financials, including the status on funding, and disposition of funding that is subject to cancellation. • Performs other duties as assigned
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's in Accounting, Finance or relevant discipline
- 3-5 years of Analyst or related experience
- Able to use EVMS principles in daily operations with proven expertise
- Knowledge of program financial controls with DoD programs
- Knowledge of relevant federal acquisition regulations and standards such as CAS/FAR/DFARS
- Knowledge of different contract types (FFP, FPIF, CPFF, CPIF, T&M)
- Knowledge of relevant accounting subject matters, including revenue recognition
- Ability to present complex information to all levels of management
- Proficient with Microsoft software applications
- Strong Excel skills
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving ability
- Ability to multi-task and is detail oriented
- Ability to ensure tasks are completed on time and accurate
- Self-starter that is capable of working independently
