Role Description As a ServiceNow Developer, you will be at the heart of our digital transformation initiatives, developing and customizing solutions that leverage the full potential of the ServiceNow platform. This role demands a blend of technical prowess in both front-end and back-end development, deep understanding of ServiceNow’s ITSM, ServOps, and Asset Management modules, and the ability to craft solutions that meet complex business needs. - Design, develop, and implement tailored solutions within the ServiceNow platform, focusing on ITSM, ServOps, and Asset Management modules. - Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into effective, scalable, and maintainable solutions. - Customize and enhance ServiceNow applications and workflows to optimize processes and user experiences. - Develop both client-side and server-side scripts to enhance functionality and create seamless integrations. - Ensure solutions are developed with high standards of security, data protection, and compliance. - Manage the full software development lifecycle, including testing, deployment, and ongoing maintenance. - Develop and maintain technical documentation for ServiceNow applications and integrations. - Conduct code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of development practices. - Provide mentorship and support to junior developers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and collaboration. - Stay abreast of the latest ServiceNow features, updates, and best practices to drive innovation and efficiency. Qualifications - Proven experience as a ServiceNow Developer, with a strong portfolio showcasing expertise in ITSM, ServOps, and Asset Management modules. - Deep knowledge of ServiceNow development practices, including client and server-side scripting, application UI configuration, and custom application development. - Proven experience working with workflows in one or more key areas of the ServiceNow platform (ITSM, ITOM, PPM, CSDM, HRSD). - Solid experience of JavaScript, Glide Script and AngularJS/HTML/CSS. - System integration experience using web services and other web-based technologies such as XML, HTML, CSS, HTTP, REST/SOAP. - Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and tools. - Excellent problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality work. - Strong communication skills, capable of engaging effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders. - Certifications in ITSM, ServOps, and Asset Management ServiceNow modules is highly regarded.
