Role Description At GXO, we're transforming the logistics and transportation industry. As our driver population continues to expand, we're looking for a highly strategic and results-oriented recruiting professional to help us build a competitive advantage in driver hiring. This is not a traditional recruiting role. We are seeking a Senior Driver Recruiter, Talent Acquisition who brings the sourcing expertise, market intelligence, and recruiting acumen needed to identify, engage, and hire professional drivers in highly competitive and hard-to-fill markets. The ideal candidate understands the transportation industry, knows where drivers can be found, understands what motivates them to make a move, and has a proven track record of creating recruiting strategies that drive measurable hiring results. What You'll Do - Lead full-cycle recruiting efforts for driver hiring across multiple markets and business units - Develop and execute innovative sourcing and recruiting strategies to attract CDL and non-CDL driver talent - Build and maintain active pipelines of qualified drivers for current and future hiring needs - Conduct market mapping and competitive intelligence to identify untapped talent pools - Utilize advanced sourcing techniques, including LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, social media, referral networks, industry associations, and direct outreach campaigns - Identify hard-to-find driver talent in saturated and high-demand markets - Partner closely with Operations, HR, Transportation Leadership, and TA leadership to understand workforce needs and hiring challenges - Serve as a strategic advisor on driver recruiting trends, labor market conditions, and competitive hiring practices - Develop targeted attraction campaigns and hiring strategies based on market data and workforce insights - Create compelling candidate engagement strategies that strengthen GXO's transportation employment brand - Monitor recruiting effectiveness and provide recommendations to improve hiring outcomes, candidate quality, and speed to hire - Track pipeline health, sourcing effectiveness, and hiring metrics to drive continuous improvement - Develop and deliver data-driven recruiting reports and dashboards that measure sourcing effectiveness, pipeline conversion rates, time-to-fill, candidate quality, and overall hiring outcomes - Analyze recruiting trends and performance metrics to identify opportunities, remove barriers, and make recommendations that improve driver hiring results - Coach and mentor other recruiters supporting driver hiring by sharing best practices, sourcing strategies, and transportation recruiting expertise Qualifications - Bachelor's degree or equivalent related work or military experience - 5+ years of recruiting experience with significant experience supporting transportation, CDL, driver, fleet, trucking, or logistics hiring - Demonstrated success sourcing and recruiting passive candidates in competitive labor markets - Experience developing recruiting strategies for hard-to-fill positions - Strong knowledge of the transportation talent landscape and driver labor market - Advanced sourcing capabilities using LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search techniques, CRM tools, job boards, and industry networks - Experience managing multiple requisitions and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment - Strong business partnership, communication, and influencing skills - Experience leveraging recruiting metrics, workforce analytics, and reporting to evaluate recruiting effectiveness and drive strategic decision-making Requirements - Experience supporting high-volume multi-site driver recruiting - Experience recruiting Class A CDL drivers across local, regional, dedicated, and over-the-road environments - Knowledge of DOT regulations and transportation industry hiring compliance - Experience building recruiting marketing campaigns and talent attraction strategies - Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate market data into actionable recruiting strategies - Experience coaching recruiters and serving as a subject matter expert within Talent Acquisition - Experience utilizing Tenstreet or similar driver recruiting and applicant tracking platforms - Experience analyzing recruiting data and producing executive-level reporting on sourcing performance, pipeline health, and hiring outcomes Benefits - Competitive compensation - Comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental and vision insurance - 401(k) - Life insurance - Disability coverage - Paid time off - And much more Company Description GXO is a leading provider of cutting-edge supply chain solutions to the most successful companies in the world.
