Your role at DynatraceThe Director, Investor Relations, is a key member of Dynatrace's Finance team, supporting the VP of Investor Relations and CFO in managing the company's relationships with shareholders and the broader financial community. This role is responsible for the preparation, coordination, and execution of investor relations programs, materials, and regulatory reporting — ensuring that Dynatrace's financial story is communicated accurately, consistently, and in compliance with applicable disclosure requirements. Responsibilities: IR Program Execution & Coordination - Support the preparation and execution of quarterly earnings cycles, including drafting materials, coordinating logistics, managing timelines, and tracking deliverables across Finance, Legal, and Communications. - Develop and maintain an IR annual calendar that ensures timely company communication, coordinated investor outreach, and full regulatory reporting compliance. - Maintain and continuously improve core IR materials including earnings presentations, investor fact sheets, the IR website, Q&A documents, and shareholder communications — ensuring accuracy and alignment with approved messaging. - Coordinate investor day and roadshow logistics, prepare briefing materials, schedules, and background research to enable effective senior leadership engagement. - Track and manage IR-related deadlines, filings, and regulatory obligations in partnership with Legal and Financial Reporting. Research, Analysis & Market Intelligence - Monitor analyst reports, investor sentiment, and competitor activity, synthesizing findings into clear, actionable summaries for the VP, Investor Relations. - Identify ds and emerging issues in the financial markets and investment community and surface relevant insights and recommended resolution strategies to senior leadership. - Conduct benchmarking and peer analysis to support the development of IR strategy and positioning in partnership with the VP, Investor Relations. - Maintain shareholder targeting and ownership tracking data, providing regular reporting on investor base composition and changes. - Prepare research briefings, talking points, and background materials ahead of investor meetings, conferences, and roadshows led by the VP, Investor Relations and CFO. Regulatory Compliance & Financial Reporting Support - Partner with Financial Reporting to support the preparation and review of SEC filings, earnings materials, and annual reports to shareholders — ensuring accuracy and consistency with approved company messaging. - Ensure all investor-facing materials comply with applicable securities regulations, disclosure requirements, and Regulation FD obligations, escalating issues to Legal and the VP, Investor Relations as appropriate. - Maintain a consistent, compliant disclosure tracking framework across all IR materials and communications channels. - Support audit and compliance processes related to IR activities and investor communications. Stakeholder & Cross-Functional Partnership - Act as a day-to-day liaison between the IR function and internal teams including Finance, Legal, Communications, and FP&A — ensuring alignment on messaging, timing, and deliverables. - Partner with the VP, Investor Relations on strategy development, providing analytical support, market intelligence, and operational input to inform IR planning and priorities. - Manage IR vendor and agency relationships including investor targeting platforms, IR website providers, and financial data services. - Ensure timely information dissemination and accurate measurement of IR program performance against key objectives. This is a hybrid role working out of our Boston, MA office (2 days per week) What will help you succeedMinimum Requirements - 8–10 years of experience in investor relations, equity research, investment banking, or corporate finance. - 5+ years’ experience working in investor relations for a public company or institutional investment organization required. - Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, Communications, or a related field; CFA or MBA a plus. Preferred Requirements - Experience in the enterprise software, SaaS, or technology sector strongly preferred — ability to understand and translate complex technical products into investment narratives. - Demonstrated experience supporting earnings processes, SEC filings, investor roadshows, and sell-side analyst relationships. - Strong working knowledge of SEC regulations, Regulation FD, and public company disclosure requirements. - Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to draft clear, accurate, and compelling financial content for multiple audiences. - Strong financial acumen — comfortable with financial modeling, earnings analysis, valuation frameworks, and interpreting capital markets data. - High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in all investor-facing materials and regulatory disclosures. - Strong project management and organizational skills — able to manage multiple high-stakes workstreams simultaneously, including earnings cycles, filing calendars, and investor events. - Collaborative partner and cross-functional communicator — experienced working with Legal, Finance, Communications, and executive leadership in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. - High level of professionalism and discretion in handling sensitive financial, regulatory, and shareholder information. - Proficiency in relevant tools including IR platforms, financial data services, presentation software, and productivity suites. - Proactive, self-directed, and solutions-oriented — able to anticipate needs, identify issues early, and drive resolution independently.
