The Role The Head of Marketing is Naboso’s single owner of ecommerce growth. This is a senior, hands-on role responsible for scaling revenue from approximately $8–10M to $20M+ while maintaining strong unit economics. This is not a brand-only or people-manager role. You will personally own strategy, execution, and results across performance, lifecycle, brand, partnerships, and onsite conversion—and make disciplined trade-offs between growth, CAC, LTV, and operational risk. What You’ll Own Ecommerce Growth & Economics Annual and quarterly revenue targets, channel mix, and spend allocation Core P&L levers: CAC, MER, conversion rate, AOV, LTV, and payback Performance marketing across Meta, Google, Amazon, and emerging channels Organic growth engines including SEO, content, affiliates, and influencers Lifecycle, Website & Conversion Email/SMS strategy across onboarding, education, retention, and win-back Website UX, CRO, landing pages, and merchandising in partnership with Operations Structured testing across offers, funnels, bundles, and creative Brand, Content & Scientific Credibility Brand positioning, voice, and compliance across all customer touchpoints Translation of complex sensory and movement science into clear, accessible messaging Content strategy across web, email, social, and partnerships Close collaboration with Founder Dr. Emily Splichal on education and thought leadership Leadership, Partners & Insight Lead a lean internal team and manage external agencies Scale partnerships, affiliates, and influencers with a credibility-first approach Build dashboards, forecasts, and monthly executive reporting Use AI to increase testing velocity, insight generation, and execution speed What We’re Looking For 7–12+ years in digital marketing, with ownership of ecommerce growth Experience scaling a DTC or ecommerce brand from ~$8M toward $20M+ Strong command of unit economics and performance marketing Hands-on operator comfortable in GA4, Shopify, attribution, and cohort analysis Proven ability to lead small teams and agencies with clarity and accountability Interest in movement science, balance, or performance strongly preferred
