Technical Project/Program Management - Technical Project Manager III Location: Menlo Park, California (Remote) Compensation: $73 - $83 hourly Role Overview The main function of a technical project manager is to plan, direct, or coordinate activities in fields such as information systems, systems analysis, and computer programming. This role involves reviewing project plans to coordinate project activity and consulting with various stakeholders to assess system requirements. Key Responsibilities - Review project plans to plan and coordinate project activity. - Manage backup, security and user help systems. - Consult with users, management, vendors, and technicians to assess computing needs and system requirements. - Meet with department heads, managers, supervisors, vendors, and others to solicit cooperation and resolve problems. - Provide users with technical support for computer problems. - Drive large and complex cross-functional teams. - Keep information organized and confidential. Required Qualifications Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent training required. Skills: - Verbal and written communication skills, problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work independently and manage one’s time. - Familiarity with AI technology and terminology. - Basic knowledge of circuit boards, processors, electronic equipment, and computer hardware and software. - Basic knowledge of production processes, quality control, costs and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods. - Basic knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, and production methods. - Basic knowledge of computer software, such as Visual Basic, Java, SQL, etc. Preferred Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Math or other Engineering discipline. - Experience working with AI engineering teams.
