Senior Director, Infrastructure Funding
Brown and Caldwell
• Guides clients and members of the funding team through the grant acquisition processes. • Responsible for advancing funding programs with little oversight. • Responsible for relationship building with clients and achieving strong partnerships with the Client Service Manager (CSM) and Client Service Team (CST). • Develops client relationships with key clients and supports funding for key projects. • Collaborates with senior management and external partners to support growth and client satisfaction. • Utilizes advanced understanding of various state and federal funding sources and programs. • Seeks to understand client project scopes to identify the best strategy for securing funding. • Completes applications and documentation for securing funding. • Directs others to complete tasks and assignments associated with the application and securing of funding options. • Develops key partnerships with CSMs and CSTs. • Creates guidelines, processes, and procedures for the strategic funding area. • Offers exceptional client services, communicating with partners and stakeholders. • Manages subcontracts and ensures compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. • Leads client relations, competitor analysis, and strategic thinking.
Job Requirements
- Typically requires a minimum of 15 years of Strategic Funding or related experience.
- Prior experience in securing external funding for infrastructure and private sector projects.
- Prior experience in a managerial or leadership role is required.
- A bachelor’s degree in engineering, economics, or business management, or related field or equivalent experience is required.
