• Manages the entire life cycle of product development for an assigned portfolio • Owns portfolio P&L and partners with cross-functional teams, vendors, and other Product Directors • Lead cross-functional development projects as Project Lead on complex product projects • Conduct financial analyses to assess product viability and collaborate with finance teams • Develop product strategies aligned with financial goals in collaboration with Product VP • Lead support functions through the go-to-market process for product releases • Evaluate product ideas within established processes ensuring compliance with regulations • Support the quarterly product roadmap planning process
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree (Required)
- Master's Degree (Preferred)
- 8+ years of prior leadership and management experience
- In-depth knowledge and extensive experience with industry-related issues
- Knowledge of workflow and business relationships for all functional areas within the company
- Knowledge of emerging technologies including AI tools and Microsoft Office software
- Demonstrated, hands-on use of AI tools in day-to-day product work

This person will partner with, among others, Account Management, Finance, Government Pricing & Rebate Operations, GTN, Legal, Marketing and Payer Marketing to ensure appropriate identification and evaluation of contracting opportunities. These responsibilities will apply across all Vertex marketed product lines and pipeline products.
