Quebec Territory Sales Representative
Pure Treats Primal Pet Foods
Role Description We’re seeking a dynamic and self-motivated Territory Sales Representative to join the PureBites® and Primal Pet Foods Team. Please note that this is a remote position. Responsibilities and Duties - Grow top line sales through building relationships with pet stores in Eastern Canada. - Collaborate with distributor representatives through ride-alongs and training sessions. - Ensure proper product placement and brand awareness in stores. - Establish, develop and maintain relationships with prospective and existing customers to introduce and grow both brands including weekly, monthly, and quarterly coverage based on account tiering. - Execute a territory sales plan and route focused on sales growth, profitability, brand development, and brand awareness. - Prospect and open new independent pet specialty accounts and support onboarding, assortment, and first order execution. - Present and sell in new products, seasonal programs, and promotions to drive distribution and velocity. - Represent and participate at trade shows and industry events with distributors and retailers. - Support retailers with merchandising and in-store visibility standards. - Resolve retailer issues and complaints quickly and professionally. - Provide in-person and phone training and in-store demos for retailers on product benefits and how to confidently sell to the consumer. - Deliver nutritional and product education that supports both Primal feeding conversations and PureBites treating recommendations. Qualifications - Territory management sales experience, pet specialty or pet food experience preferred. - Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment. - Proven ability to build relationships, influence in-store, and close new business. - Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. - Highly organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision. - You must reside in Québec to apply for this role. - Candidates must be able to work in the location specified, as no relocation assistance is provided. - Automobile required for the role. - This role requires 80% day travel with 4-5 overnight travel per month. - Regular business hours: 8AM – 5PM Monday to Friday. - 5-10 weekends a year depending on tradeshow schedule.
