Vocational Trainer in E‑Commerce

• As an employee of WBS TRAINING, you represent your field with passion and foresight. • In your role as a vocational trainer, the primary goal is the competency development of course participants. • In your lesson design you act both as a content provider and as a learning companion — Learning 4.0! • This includes: subject-specific instruction delivered from the home office in WBS LearnSpace 3D® and the application of various teaching methods for lesson design • Supervision and support of our retraining participants with their IHK-related reports and projects (IHK = German Chamber of Industry and Commerce) • Participation in quality assurance measures
Job Requirements
- Completed vocational training or degree in E‑Commerce with at least 5 years of professional experience
- Solid knowledge and practical experience in e‑commerce / online retail, particularly in assortment strategy, sales and sales channels, marketing, and partnerships
- Initial experience as a vocational trainer, trainer, presenter, lecturer, or teacher
- Desirable additional knowledge in the following areas: legal and regulatory frameworks, commercial controlling and monitoring, project-oriented working methods in e‑commerce, accounting and cost and performance accounting, project management
- Proof of pedagogical aptitude (e.g., AEVO)

This two-step conversion is the core analytical problem in this role. • Analyze paid performance across Amazon Ads and Shopify-driven channels. Evaluate ROAS, CAC, and payback period at the device level and surface recommendations on where to shift spend. • Dig into the Shopify storefront and Amazon product page funnels. Identify where conversion is leaking, what product, pricing, or creative variables are driving lift, and bring findings forward before stakeholders ask. • Build and own dbt models that encode business logic for the devices domain in a scalable, reusable way to power dashboards, reporting, and stakeholder self-serve. • Build and maintain Tableau dashboards that give marketing and leadership a reliable, current view of device sales, channel performance, and subscriber attach rates. • Use Claude fluently as a daily productivity layer: accelerating SQL, generating documentation, QA-ing work, and building faster analytical workflows. Help define and share best practices for AI-assisted analytics across the team. • Partner directly with the devices marketing team to scope analytical problems, pressure-test. • Identify gaps before they become problems: data quality, metric definitions, reporting coverage, and stakeholder understanding.
