Senior Manager, Decision Science
Dealer Tire
• Serve as lead product owner and point of contact for advanced analytics supporting supply chain operations. • Define the supply chain analytics roadmap by partnering with stakeholders to identify priorities, establish KPIs, diagnose performance gaps, and shape analytics initiatives that improve business outcomes. • Manage the analytics product lifecycle by overseeing intake, requirements, backlog prioritization, delivery planning, user acceptance, adoption, and continuous improvement. • Explore and introduce new analytics capabilities, techniques and best practices to apply to use cases including AI-assisted improvements in speed and quality. • Coordinate execution across capability teams by working with data engineering, data science, automation, IT, and other analytics teams to remove barriers and get projects delivered. • In addition to dashboards and reports, diversifying into analytics deliverables of decision tools, guided workflows, scenario analysis, recommendations, and reusable analytics products. • Maintain and improve the supply chain financial reporting process. • Lead and develop the team by coaching the team on analytical best practices, problem framing, product thinking, communication, and business interpretation. • Act as a change leader, instill AI-first mindset through adoption of AI tools for productivity improvement and beyond. • Determine staffing needs, hire, train, and develop team members across the department(s). • Monitor and evaluate performance and implement coaching and development plans. • Lead cross-functional collaboration within a matrix environment. • Develop and communicate strategic objectives and measurable time-based goals for team and individuals based on business and department priorities. • Partner with Supply Chain, Operations, Information Technology, and additional leaders to influence the data management processes while overseeing governance practices.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Analytics, Data Science, Statistics, Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in analytics, business intelligence, decision science, data product management, supply chain analytics, or related analytical leadership roles.
- 3+ years of experience leading analytics teams, product owners, BI developers, or cross-functional analytics initiatives.
- Experience applying analytics product management practices, including intake, prioritization, backlog management, requirements definition, adoption planning, and value realization.
- Demonstrated ability to partner with stakeholders, define KPIs, manage backlogs, influence cross-functional teams, and translate analytics into practical business decisions.
