• Provide leadership and strategic direction to multiple material processing facilities within the region, ensuring the highest level of operational efficiency and effectiveness. • Oversee safety protocols, compliance with environmental regulations, and adherence to all company policies and procedures. Foster a culture of safety and continuous improvement. • Monitor and optimize material processing operations to ensure production targets are met while maintaining quality standards and cost-effective processes. • Manage the financial performance of the facilities in the region, including budget development and cost control measures. • Build, develop, and lead a team of facility managers, operators, and support staff, ensuring they have the necessary resources and training to excel in their roles. • Implement key performance indicators (KPIs) and regularly evaluate facility performance, identifying areas for improvement and taking corrective actions. • Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to ensure a reliable flow of materials, parts, and services required for facility operations. • Promote sustainability and environmentally responsible practices within the facilities. • Develop and maintain positive relationships with customers, addressing their needs and ensuring satisfaction. • Generate and present periodic reports on facility performance, operational metrics, and budgetary status to senior management.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., engineering, business management) or equivalent work experience.
- 5+ years of leadership experience in material processing, manufacturing, or related industries.
- Strong knowledge of environmental regulations and safety procedures.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
- Financial acumen and experience in budget management.
- Demonstrated ability to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Willingness to travel up to 50% within the region as needed.
