• Define Product Strategy • Partner across Product, Engineering, Design, Strategy, Marketing, and Business Development to shape the long-term vision and strategy for GameChanger Basketball. • Identify opportunities through customer research, market trends, competitive insights, and business priorities. • Make thoughtful tradeoffs that balance customer needs with business impact. • Lead Product Development • Own the product lifecycle from discovery and ideation through launch, measurement, and ongoing iteration. • Translate strategy into a clear roadmap and work with Engineering and Design to deliver top-notch customer experiences. • Launch quickly, learn from customer feedback, and continuously improve your product. • Drive Customer & Business Outcomes • Define success metrics and use qualitative and quantitative insights to evaluate product performance. • Partner with Analytics to uncover opportunities, validate hypotheses, and inform future investments. • Ensure product decisions contribute to customer satisfaction, engagement, and business growth. • Collaborate & Influence • Communicate product vision, priorities, milestones, and outcomes to stakeholders at all levels of the organization. • Foster alignment across cross-functional teams while navigating ambiguity and competing priorities.
Job Requirements
- 5+ years of product management experience building and shipping consumer-facing mobile products, ideally within sports, family technology, gaming, subscriptions, or other high-engagement consumer experiences.
- Proven ability to lead products from discovery through launch, using customer insights, experimentation, and data to prioritize investments.
- Experience partnering closely with Engineering and Design to deliver intuitive, high-quality customer experiences.
- Strong product judgment with the ability to balance customer needs, technical complexity, and business objectives when making tradeoffs.
- Comfortable operating in fast-paced, ambiguous environments where you’re helping define both the problem and the solution.
- Skilled at influencing cross-functional partners and aligning stakeholders without direct authority.
- Excellent communication skills, with experience presenting product strategy, priorities, and outcomes to audiences across all levels of an organization.
- Naturally curious and customer-obsessed, with a bias toward action and a passion for building products that families love.
- Knowledge of or passion for basketball and a desire to help shape the future of the sport through technology is preferred.
