Role Description The Affiliate Marketing Manager - International role is a strategic position that will manage iHerb’s global affiliate and referral marketing programs, working cross-functionally with our international teams, product teams, marketing operations, and strategic partnerships teams. - Manage iHerb’s global performance commission-based affiliate, content, and influencer programs to drive new and existing customer acquisition and growth. - Lead new affiliate discovery and recruitment, dormant affiliate activation, and existing affiliate optimization efforts for the iHerb affiliate programs, specializing in key international markets. - Execute and implement the global affiliate partner recruitment and optimization strategy, as well as onboarding new platforms for global expansion. - Implement the strategic account plan for designated international markets to drive ongoing growth of existing partnerships and increase international brand awareness. - Build and maintain strong long-term affiliate partnerships. - Serve as a subject matter expert for affiliate marketing and act as a resource to our international marketing teams to deepen market penetration of our performance affiliate business. - Forecast and track key metrics, prepare reports on program and publisher performance, and communicate the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal stakeholders. - Collaborate with product and IT teams on integration and new feature development across owned and licensed referral platforms (Proprietary customer referral platform, as well as Partnerize, Impact, Awin, and CJ). - Evaluate and propose strategic recommendations for paid media to grow the affiliate channel by international market, reporting on opportunity performance and learnings from each campaign. - Work closely with marketing operations and creative services teams to align with existing promotional calendar, as well as development of channel-specific creative and promotions. - Monitor the incrementality of the affiliate channel for assigned markets, providing reporting to senior management, and adapting strategy to maximize impact of marketing investment. Qualifications - Experience in growth-stage ecommerce company, affiliate marketing agency, or digital marketing agency highly preferred. - Strong strategic thinker with the ability to translate quantitative and qualitative data/insights into strong marketing strategies. - Highly organized “doer” with a data-driven mentality and a bias towards action. - Customer-oriented and hyper-analytical, with a positive, entrepreneurial spirit. - Proven track record managing and growing international affiliate programs in global networks (Partnerize, Awin, CJ, Impact). - Strong understanding of the international affiliate landscape. - Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven strategic recommendations. - Excellent communication and negotiation skills with the ability to work cross-functionally and across different cultures. - Passion for driving international affiliate program expansion, business development, ecommerce growth, and global online marketing, with bilingual abilities. Requirements - Generally requires a minimum of seven (7) + years of digital marketing, CRM, retention, and/or marketing operations experience, preferably in DTC ecommerce or digital agency environment. - At least two (2) years of affiliate, performance partnerships and/or customer referral program experience in DTC ecommerce, with a focus on international markets. Benefits - The expected salary range for this role is $90,000 - $115,000 USD. - The actual base pay offered will be determined by factors such as the candidate's relevant experience, education, geographic location, and internal equity.
