• Prospect and win new small-to-medium business customers within a defined territory • Build and manage a robust pipeline through proactive outreach using phone, video, face-to-face meetings, and digital tools • Set and conduct appointments with key decision-makers to uncover business needs and position solutions • Apply consultative selling techniques to identify opportunities and recommend customized product and service solutions • Effectively communicate Staples’ value proposition across product categories and services • Utilize CRM and sales tools (e.g., SFDC, Tenfold, prioritized call lists) to optimize productivity and track activity • Collaborate with internal partners, including customer support and category specialists, to close deals and ensure successful onboarding • Onboard and ramp newly won accounts to drive adoption, retention, and long-term growth • Analyze customer industries and buying processes to deliver insights and tailored solutions • Continuously refine your sales approach based on feedback and market trends
Job Requirements
- 1–3 years of successful sales experience or prior success as a Staples B2B Sales Associate
- Demonstrated ability to prospect, develop, and close sales opportunities
- Experience working in a goal-oriented or competitive sales environment
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to be coached and apply feedback to improve performance
- Professional communication skills and customer-facing presence.

As an Account Executive, you will work with Cyera's prospects and clients selling enterprise-wide cloud data security and data risk management solutions. This full-cycle sales position handles everything from prospecting through closing large, complex sales cycles that best position Cyera's capabilities and integrated value proposition. In this role, you will need to be able to analyze and understand a customer’s business, their process, challenges, and objectives, and work collaboratively with a Sales Engineer to map Cyera’s technology to solving the pain points of your prospects.
