Role Description This position enables the sales process by providing exceptional food experiences to drive confidence in Hormel quality, capabilities, and product portfolio. - Participates as a member of the Hormel Culinary Collective and is involved in all Collective activities. - Develops and delivers culinary presentations with sales team for key Non-Commercial accounts, C-Store Accounts, key Chain/National accounts and Regional chains. - Menu/recipe concept ideation. - Represents Hormel culinary at industry events. - Key participant in all sales development training seminars as assigned and hosted at the corporate office. - Works collaboratively, in a team setting, with other members of the Hormel Foodservice. - Lead/opportunity generation through chef-to-chef connections with key accounts. Qualifications - This position will be awarded at one of three levels – Corporate Chef, Senior Corporate Chef, Executive Chef - based on qualifications and experience. - 3+ years of relevant culinary industry experience to include menu development and profitability. - A formal culinary degree from a reputable culinary institute. - A pattern of initiative. - A pattern of strong goal setting and results accountability. - Self-starter who possesses the ability to work independently. - Proven problem solving and decision-making skills. - The ability to work effectively in a team environment on a variety of complex projects. - Ability to foster relationships with fellow culinarians at a regional or national level. - Ability to present effectively to groups. - Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills. - Highly developed interpersonal and persuasive skills. - Strong written and verbal communication skills. - Excellent time management skills. - Applicants must not now, or at any time in the future, require employer sponsorship for a work visa. - Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States for any employer. Requirements - The preferred location(s) for this position are Los Angeles, CA, Denver, CO or Phoenix, AZ. This role will work from a remote home office. - Travel may be necessary up to 60% of the time.
