Senior Field Sales Representative — Gynecologic Oncology

AbbVie

• Provide professional information, presentation and promotion of AbbVie products to office-based specialists and hospital specialists in compliance with §75 of the German Medicines Act (AMG) 'Duties of the Pharmaceutical Advisor' • Implement the brand strategy to market our highly innovative product in gynecologic oncology • Conduct market analysis based on available data, analyze the regional market regarding sales development of our product and competitors, and identify opportunities and critical trends • Design, coordinate and implement a territory plan within the Infield team • Deliver competent customer management, i.e. actively advising physicians, pharmacists and, where applicable, healthcare organizations • Plan, organize and conduct educational events and maintain a presence at regional and national conferences • Gather market information and customer insights; determine customers' position in the sales cycle • Professional reporting: timely and proper completion of all administrative tasks • Collaborate effectively within the Infield team and beyond; promote open communication and continuous exchange of experience and ideas • Proactively and continuously advocate for customer needs • Co-responsibility for achieving regional targets • Comply with all applicable functional requirements and legal and regulatory obligations, including procedures and processes related to ethics and compliance as well as the 'Code of Business Conduct'

Job Requirements

  • Degree in a natural science subject, formal pharmaceutical advisor training or required expertise in accordance with §75 AMG
  • Several years of field sales experience in the pharmaceutical industry with demonstrably above-average sales success preferred, ideally in oncology and preferably in gynecologic oncology
  • Experience working in an Infield team and leading interdisciplinary projects in a matrix organization
  • Ability to present complex scientific information appropriately for the target audience and discuss it with different customer groups
  • Strong persuasion skills and a presentation- and closing-oriented personality with excellent communication abilities
  • High level of motivation and energy to pursue and achieve goals
  • Excellent performance management to continuously optimize sales target achievement
  • Strong digital competence and proficient use of field force systems and MS Office
  • Good command of English
