Role Description The Event Support Specialist plays a key role in executing event registration support for large-scale corporate events. Responsibilities include: - Responding to attendee inquiries via email and phone - Processing registration requests - Managing hotel reservations - Providing clear, professional communication with attendees, clients, and vendors Qualifications - Previous experience in events, group meetings, and/or hospitality - Excellent written communication skills - Strong customer service and problem-solving abilities - Ability to quickly learn and navigate event technology platforms - Attention to detail and organization - Professional presence - Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently - Ability to work independently and resourcefully - Ability to maintain high levels of confidentiality Requirements - Assist attendees with registration processes, including ticket purchasing, transfers, and hotel bookings - Respond to attendee inquiries via email and phone with professionalism and clarity - Maintain thorough knowledge of event registration processes - Serve as a liaison between attendees and event management, specifically regarding platform issues - Support event managers in training new team members - Complete tasks as assigned by event project managers - Ensure all proprietary information remains confidential - Travel onsite to provide attendee support as needed (required Nov. 28–Dec. 5) - Assist in tracking accessibility requests, meal preferences, and other attendee needs Benefits - Temporary position with potential for contract extension or conversion - A collaborative, inclusive and enthusiastic team - Flexibility in work schedules - Starting compensation between $25.00/hour and $30.00/hour
