Role Description The Director of Property Accounting is an important role at Blue Water, overseeing the core functions of Centralized Property Accounting to help Blue Water’s leadership gain financial visibility and insights into the business. This also includes preparing accurate and timely financial reports, ensuring appropriate controls are in place to safeguard assets, and utilizing efficient and effective processes at the properties. Requirements - A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business, or a related field. Master’s Degree and/or CPA preferred. - 6-10 years of relevant experience, including experience in finance/accounting in a corporate environment. - Strong working knowledge of GAAP and the Uniform System of Accounts for the Lodging Industry (USALI). - Experience leading and developing a team. - Experience leading complex workstreams. - Excellent proficiency in accounting and corporate finance concepts. - Consistent success and career progression. - Proficient with Microsoft Office Applications, including advanced Excel skills. - Experience with ProfitSword or similar Hospitality Intelligence Software. - Experience with Sage Intacct, Blackline, or similar Accounting Software. Role Description We are seeking a Director of Revenue Accounting to manage all aspects of the Company's revenue accounting function. This role is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of revenue accounting and reporting, including: - Revenue recognition under ASC 606 - Invoicing - Deferred revenue - Work-in-process (WIP) accounting - Month-end close - Audit support The Director will manage a team of accounting professionals and partner cross-functionally to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
