• Engage with targeted customer organizations and understand customer business needs. • Participate in defining holistic solutions from both business and technical perspective. • Organize and lead technical customer needs identification and scoping calls. • Deliver and sell the technical solution strategy and vision to senior client executives. • Create and cultivate key trusted-advisor relationships with senior level IT executives. • Provide leadership in understanding best practices around advanced cloud-based data solutions. • Build and maintain relationships with partner pre-sales and solutions engineers. • Provide feedback on offerings to enhance corporate competency meeting customer needs. • Ensure the customer is highly satisfied with all solutions delivered and is a referenceable customer.
Job Requirements
- Proven experience as a Data Architect or Cloud Solutions Architect
- Excellent knowledge of the business of Data management & Data lifecycle
- A strong understanding and experience with Cloud architectures specifically: Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Microsoft Azure or Amazon Web Services (AWS) with a focus on the data services
- In-depth knowledge of popular database and data warehouse technologies from Microsoft, Amazon and/or Google (Big Data & Conventional RDBMS), Microsoft Azure SQL Data Warehouse, Teradata, Redshift, BigQuery, Snowflake etc.
- Good understanding of conventional databases (Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, Postgres, etc.)
- Experience moving data to cloud and designing cloud based data warehouses/architectures
- Writing or spec’ing out data pipelines
- Knowledge of cloud based ingestion and transformation tools
- Prior experience in a technical sales environment
- Consulting experience & Management experience would be nice to have
- A certification such as Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect, Google Professional Data Engineer or related AWS Certified Solutions Architect / Big Data or Microsoft Azure Architect would also be great

• We are seeking an energetic individual with 1-2 years of prior experience in education/teaching, onboarding, and/or customer training to join our Americas Team as an Implementation Specialist. • In this role, you will be responsible for customer onboarding and new-user training for Atlas. • The Implementation Specialist’s primary responsibility is to be the main point of contact between our customers in the Americas and Atlas during the onboarding period. • You will work closely with the Solutions/Sales Consultant, Standards & Services, and Client Experience teams to orchestrate the initial setup of Atlas, ensuring it is configured for success and tailored to meet the unique needs of each customer. • The ideal candidate will be highly organized and able to effectively prioritize tasks, work autonomously in a remote-friendly environment, and collaborate seamlessly with cross-functional teams to support the company’s broader goals. • Develop long-term goals with schools and leadership teams, supporting curriculum planning, development, and review. • Use change management strategies to ensure the successful implementation of our software in alignment with the Americas’ educational values and widely adopted curriculum practices. • Show an in-depth knowledge of our products and their capabilities, including how they support curriculum design, instructional planning, and school processes. • Review and confirm customization of products to facilitate clients’ processes. • Collaborate with school leadership teams to set academic and operational goals, provide strategic recommendations based on the Americas’ curriculum frameworks, and guide schools in aligning their internal practices with our platform’s capabilities. • Conduct both basic and advanced training on-site and online, assessing users’ abilities and tailoring training to fit. • Transition client relationship seamlessly to the School Experience Manager after the implementation period. • Proactively define and drive project strategies, collaborating with the Services & Support Team to ensure efficient execution and successful delivery. • Work across teams to contribute to the overall mission of Faria, drive innovation of our products, and further our relationships with our client schools.
• Own multiple customer implementations simultaneously from kickoff through go-live, managing timelines, milestones, and deliverables to ensure on-time, compliant launches. • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers during implementation, conducting kickoff calls, weekly status meetings, technical reviews, and go-live readiness assessments. • Bridge the gap between Astra's technical capabilities and customer requirements, explaining API concepts, authentication flows, webhook configurations, and integration patterns to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. • Coordinate between Sales, Engineering, Product, and Compliance teams to ensure seamless handoffs, clear communication, and aligned expectations throughout the implementation. • Build and maintain implementation guides, project templates, technical documentation, and best practice playbooks that enable faster, more consistent customer onboarding. • Proactively identify implementation blockers, technical challenges, or scope changes, escalating issues appropriately and developing mitigation plans to keep projects on track. • Track implementation metrics (time-to-launch, customer satisfaction, common bottlenecks) and recommend process improvements to accelerate future implementations. • Coordinate go-live activities, including final testing, production launch planning, post-launch monitoring and customer success.
