Role Description The Regional Sales Advisor reports to the Director of Sales, Events. The role also has accountability to the VP Training & Education and Regional General Managers. Responsible for assigned all star accounts and the sales success to a specific all star dance accounts and all star dance events. Event travel and attendance at staff meetings & trainings is required. The Regional Sales Advisor plays a critical role in building a trusted partnership with customers, our internal regional stakeholders and the Sales and Experience Advisors. They will ensure their customers are getting value and satisfaction from all purchases and interactions with Varsity All Star. Will interact frequently with the Director of Competition Experience, Sales and Experience Advisors and Fashion Specialist(s) to share updates and strategize about company goals and customer needs. They will be responsible for connecting regularly with regional leadership to report customer-related challenges or issues, effectively and amicably resolve those issues, and collaborate to establish changes as needed. A successful RSA will grow both trust and revenue, which will be measured based on things such as account revenue growth and overall success of assigned account(s). The RSA looks for and drives opportunities for expansion within each account and their assigned region(s). What You Will Do - Increase Varsity All Star event revenue for assigned customer accounts by solidifying team participation at events both in and out of customers region. - Responsible for cold calling customers in assigned territory to increase revenue at Varsity All Star events and assisting them in the creation of a Varsity Event schedule to meet their specific Program/Team needs. - Stay constantly connected to customers to build trust and gather insight for the future. - Face to face in their gyms/studios when possible. - By phone, text, email, private social media groups. - At Varsity All Star events, meetings and conferences. - Promote participation in Varsity All Star end of season events by selling the features and benefits of: - The Summit Championships - The Regional Summit - The Youth Summit - The Recreational Summit - The U.S. Finals - The Quest - Provide sales direction and support to Sales and Experience Advisors. - Work closely with the planning and experience teams for The Dance MAJORS and The Dance Summit. - Serve as the event expert for the territory, build deep knowledge of: - Event loyalty program: Varsity Family Plan - Event dates, locations, prices - Awards & gifts - Bids - Monitor & report event competitors within the region. - Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of their product/event offerings. - Collaborate closely with regional leadership to develop the regional event schedule. - Utilize customer feedback to help direct any changes in product mix. - Prepare reports and provide periodic updates and event projections. - Assist with responding to customer inquiries in the Regional and Event BAND Groups. - Assist with Registration and Marketing Needs as defined by Regional Leadership. - Be an active member of the Customer Experience team before, during and after events. - Evaluate, process, and communicate discount and/or rebate plans. - Serve in a high-level management and/or support role at events. - Frequently host monthly regional touch points with customers on their event experience regionally and nationally. - Participate on various committees and/or boards essential to our business both indirectly and directly. Qualifications - Strong familiarity with productivity tools such as Microsoft Office Suites. - Strong fluency in SalesForce. - High level of customer service acumen. - Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. - Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities to interact with various stakeholders. - Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team. - Strong problem-solving skills to handle unexpected customer issues effectively. Requirements - Bachelor’s Degree or work experience equivalent. - Minimum of 3 years direct sales experience. - Experience in dance/cheer/performing arts industry a plus. Physical Requirements - While not participating in an event this job operates in a professional office environment. Largely a sedentary role with some filing requiring the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bending or standing on a stool as necessary. - Ability to sit or stand for long periods through meetings and while operating office equipment, PCs, laptop, telephone will be required. - During events the ability to stand and walk for long periods of time (5 hours plus) is required. - The ability to communicate with customers and colleagues using the following but not limited to radio, walkie talkie, text message and email is required. - The ability to lift, bend, push, pull and manipulate equipment that is a minimum of 30 lbs. is required.
